I'm excited when season of Academy Award comes. I really like movies. I cannot watch its broadcasting in real time, but I check result out at the website and watch it on the morning TV show every year. Prize awarding ceremony of Academy is now held at Kodak Theatre in Hollywood. A red carpet is putted down, actors and actresses dressed up are walking, talking, and smiling at the camera. I think I really want to go there. By the way, do you know the reason why the Oscar Statuette is called so? It is not sure, but there are some theories about that. The one is "Uncle Oscar." It's said to have begun when the Academy's Executive Secretary, Margaret Herrick looked at the Oscar Statuette and said "This looks like my uncle Oscar," and it was run as a column to the newspaper. Walt Disney read the column, and used "Oscar" in the acceptance speech. Then it is said that people came to call so. It has no foundation but I like and believe it. The Academy Award will be in season soon. I'm looking forward it!As an aside, Brad Pitt has not won the Oscar yet. I hope he will get it soon!
