Esssay2-4: Draft "My community" ～Dance～

I’m in a dance community now. In fact, when I was a high school student, I was belonging to a dance club. Even after I graduated from my high school, I and my dance friends gather and dance when we have time. By the way, there are a lot of kinds in dance, which includes ballet, social dancing, and exercise like an aerobics. My dance community is called street dance. Do you know street-dance? It means that is mainly Hip-Hop dance. I’m dancing Hip-Hop and girl’s Hip-Hop dance in my community, While, some of my friends dance breakin’ dance and a kind that is called rockin’. The dances in this movie are Hip-Hop and breakin’ dance. This movie is “You got served”, which is one of my favorite dance movies.
In my community, it doesn't matter how old you are, whether men or women and if your dance is good or not. Other communities might have a restriction on gender or age. Dance community doesn’t have such a restriction. A condition that you need is that you love dancing. If you love dance and want to dance, you can do it whenever and wherever. You don’t have to care about your skill, age and gender. Those are really good point of dance. In dance community, from kindergartens to 40s and 50s, they dance very well. I began to dance when I was a high school student. At first, I was always thinking about my skill. More over, I worried if my dance is good or not. However, one day, one of my friends taught me that it doesn’t matter how your dance is. All what you do is to enjoy your dance. From that time, my thought changed. Generally, you spend a long time to improve your skill when you begin any other　sports. However, dance doesn’t need a long time for practice. It’s because that it doesn’t matter whether your dance is good or not. Surely, dance also has many skills and if you want to dance hard, you’ll need higher skills but, except special case, it’s enough that you dance to the music.

Dance community has another good point. It is that there is no border in dance.　This might be said that in other sports community. My community can be also said.　When you have communicated with another country people, you have to speak foreign languages each other. You may have experience which is included that you couldn’t understand what your partner said. However, When you dance with them, you don't need to speak not so much. I have an experience which is related to that. When I was a high school student, I went to London, England. At that time, I couldn’t speak English than now. However, fortunately, my host sister loved dancing and her dream was a dancer. We didn’t talk much because we couldn’t speak each other’s languages. But we could have communication with dance. At that time, I thought that dance is one of tools when we have communication with another country people.

Dance community has 2 main good points. One is that it doesn’t matter how old you are and your dance is. The most important thing when you dance is that you feel fun. Your dance is perfect as far as you enjoy your dancing. Two is that dance has no border between you and another country people. Dance is one of tools which you communicate with them. When you dance with them, you don’t have to talk. Dancing community is the one which is no restriction and border. If you are member of the community, you are one ever. This community is the one which you are belong to in your whole life. [626 words]

Surprise BD party x)

On 29^thAug, the day was my friend’s BD! And we did surprise party for her---J

Before the party, I and other friends went a downtown to buy BD present. We don’t have enough time to prepare a present so we bought a photo album and put massage cards into it. And then we went to 居酒屋　earlier than the leader and one of my friends had came there. The party was a great success and the friend was very surprised! *haha*
Having a dinner and drinking, we ate very delicious cake!

I think that Birthday is really special day. Before I entered this university, I thought that Birthday is just thing that we can eat cake and get presents from our family and friends. But recently, I think that the birthday is the day that we have to thank to everything that is related to us. In last my birthday, I got many messages from my friends. Almost my friends live in another prefecture and we can’t meet each other frequently. But even the friends gave me a birthday messages. I was so glad for that and I thought that I’m here because of my friends and my family. Anyway, Birthday is the happiest day for us right? X) Besides, our friend’s birthday is also important!!

This movie is soooooo interesting for me! x)

If course this is about Dance though *haahJ but! I like not only dancing also the story. Besides, this movie is not about Hip-Hop dance which I love. Do you know Stomp?? In English it is also called “Step” the difference between street dance and step is that whether you use music or not. As you know, when we dance, we use music but In the case of step, stomp dancers don’t use music. Instead of it, they use their bodies and voices. Anyway, this was great!!!!

When i was a high school studet, I was belong to dancing club.
in this club, I grew mentaly and learned very important thing.
my dance friends are my best friends and we gathered sometimes even we graduated from our highschool.I think that dancing club is the one which we can be belong to our whole life.
Maybe, I'll be in a dancing club even I'll be older.
so anyway, I'll talk what I learned in dancing club and did we do.
my dancing club was street dance club.
we danced HIp-Hop, Jazz-Hip-hop and breakin' dance there. we didn't have any competition and games like other clubs did. we came on the stage in school festival and otehr dance events instead of games and competitions. in Kumamoto, almost high school

MR2-1: "Mrs.Doubtfire"

I watched this movie “Mrs.Doubtfire” This movie is comedy. I think that the story was really interesting and made me think about 3 important things. Those are the parent’s love, an importance of a laugh and an importance of a chance to change your life. First of all, I’ll talk about the story of this movie.

Main character is Daniel who is a voice artist and has 7 different voices. He also lives with 3 children and his wife, Miranda. He really loves his children and is really good father for the children. But for his wife, he isn’t a good husband. He doesn’t get a fixed job and only has a lot of fun with his children. One day, Miranda said “It’s over!!” when he was making fuss with his son. They divorced and he was ordered that he can meet his children only once a week in a court. Miranda put a help-wanted ad in the paper of a housekeeper. Daniel thought of one thing. That is he becomes a housekeeper! His strategy had gone according to plan and he begins to work as a housekeeper in the house which he used to live with his family . He is a very good housekeeper. But one day, the accident happens suddenly and his true self is exposed to his children. Daniel, his son and daughter try to hide the secret but finally, Miranda knows who Mrs. Doubtfire is. In the end, He and their family noticed that the importance of each other’s existence and they got together. As I said, I learned 3 importance things form this movie. Next, I’ll talk about what I learned from this movie.

The first thing is that the parent’s love. Especially, Daniel’s love to his children was really impressive. In the movie, He was always thinking about his children. They are everything for him. I thought that we can’t see such a parent’s love today. Surely parents love their children and always think about them. However, I think that some parents think about only themselves than their children. They take their little son and daughter out till late at night and also many children are treaded cruelly today. That is a really problem. If they thought about their children in earnest, they would think what a good and bad thing for their children is. I thought that if Daniel was a father, his children are sure to be happy. I learned that the importance of parent's love in this movie.

The second thing is that the importance of a laugh. In this movie, Mrs. Doubtfire said “A laugh always makes us happy” I think it is right. I can’t imagine we can’t laugh in our everyday life. Daniel knows the importance of a laugh. He always makes his family laugh and happy. (Except his wife though) however, in the end, he made not only his family also everyone laugh and happy appearing on television. I think that a laugh is necessary thing for us. When my friends, family and even others laugh and smile, that makes me extremely happy. With their laugh and smile, I’ve got a power and courage. This movie teaches the importance of a laugh and the laugh makes everyone happy.

The third thing is that there are many chances to change your life. I think that we notice the importance of the chance to change yourself and life after you lost anything. In this movie, Daniel lost many things. He couldn’t meet his children and had to apart his wife with divorce. Moreover, he lost his job. However, he noticed the importance of family once more and changes himself and his thinking. Because he couldn’t meet his children, his love to his children was stronger, and with be divorced by his wife, he could know what his wife was thinking. I thought that losing anything is really painful but you can also get something which is more important thing than a thing which you lost.

In this movie teaches us many things. For me, that was parents’ love, the importance of a laugh and a chance to change you and life. At first, I thought that this movie is just comedy. However, even comedy teaches us very important thing for us. After I watched this movie, I could learn the 3 things from the story. At the same time, I also thought movies is a really good textbook for us.

BR2-1: "The Fairground Ghost

I read this book today. This is my first book-review in 2nd semester. It’s little bit late though, anyway, I’ll talk about the story of this book and my impression.

Plot: One day, Jake, a little boy, saw a poster on his way to school and thought that he wants to go to the fair. But he had to find someone to go with him. He asked his parents but both of them answered “No I’m busy” Even sister didn’t say “Yes” but because he was hanging in there, she finally, agreed to him.

Jake, his sister, Marcia and her boyfriend, Brad walked into the fair ground. Jake wanted something really scary. He found the ghost train there. In the ghost train, he was so busy watching a vampire leap and so scared. And the train went around the final bend and out popped a little ghost, but the ghost wasn’t so scary. After that, one man asked Jake” What’s so funny?” because he was laughing as he left the train. He said “The little ghost” In fact, the man was a ghost inspector. “Out you go” said the man and an owner of the ghost train. The ghost had to be tested. Finally, the ghost was fired. Watching it, Jake caught up with the ghost and he and the ghost walked around in the fair. For cheering up his new friend, the little ghost, Jake had an idea. Jake took it to the interesting attractions and finally, he took it to the hall if mirrors. “Close your eyes” and when he said that it can open its eyes, ….. The little ghost screamed, as it caught sight of its own reflection. The little ghost echoed around the fairground. Nearly everyone was terrified. Jake said “The scary ghost will catch me!” The ghost said “Scary? Me?” Jake and the little ghost went to find the owner of the ghost train. The man agreed to test the little ghost. As the ghost screamed, everyone was scared! The ghost could work in the ghost train again!

It was very easy to read and interesting. There are a few words that I don’t know but I could read enough! Reading this book, I thought that everyone can change our chance and life if you have a confidence. In this story, the little ghost couldn’t have its confidence first. But it was getting to have it because of Jake.

Jake is also important character I think. Jake is one who gives the little ghost chance to change its life and thinking. I think that people like Jake are really important for us. And we couldn’t improve our life without them.

Anyway, it was really fun and very good !
