  My senior

  I met my senior whose name Yuka yesterday. She graduated this courage last year. She is my club’s senior. I haven’t met her for a long time, so I was happy to meet her. First, we went to “Koino Shizuku” to eat lunch. We talked a lot of things there. She works in Higo bank now, so I could hear many things about the job from her. She works hard everyday. I respect for her. Next, we went to Tsutaya to but some books. I was introduced a lot of books from her, so I want to but them next time. Then, she borrowed some DVDs. She and I like to watch movies. We promised that we go to see the movie together. After that we went to “Amamiya”. That shop was recommended by her. I ate zenzai of powdered green tea and coffee gelatin of soybean flour. I ate them first time, but they were very delicious. I took to that shop, so I want to go there again. I had a very good time them. I want her to do her best in her job. (188, total 9191)

  I bought a CD!

  I bought a CD last week. That CD sings by Miliya Kato. She is my favorite singer. I have all her CDs. I always sing her song whenever I go to karaoke. I like all her songs. I bought album. It has 14 songs. I like all, but I especially like “Love forever” and “Aitai”. Love forever is sung by Miliya and Syota Shimizu. I like their combination. Both of these songs are love songs. Her song can sympathize, so I like her songs. There is her concert in Zepp Fukuoka on September 25. I’m going to go to the concert. Also that day is my birthday. I think I will never forger as long as I live. I’m looking forward to seeing her fro now on. (127, total 9003)

  Tests finished!

  Tests finished today! I have five tests in tests week. There were Japanese history, psychology, economic, western art history and business English. All of them were difficult for me, but I studied hard. I didn’t know about the results, but I have no regrettable. Summer vacation begins from tomorrow. I have a lot of plans. I want to play a lot, but I have to study, too. I want to spend massive summer vacation. (76, total 8876)

  I read a book whose title is The Big Bag Mistake”. There was one girl. Her name is Gisela. She lives in Rio de Janeiro, and she stayed for a month in London in vacation. She had a big blue bag. It has her manuscript. At the airplane, she was reading a book because she likes to read books. There was one man at the airplane. His name is Ricardo. He took to her, and spoke to her, but she didn’t like him. She wanted to leave from him as soon as possible, so she run away when they arrived at Rio de Janeiro. His bag was also a big blue bag. She took his bag in mistake, and took the bus. During she slept on the bus, one man stole her bag, and run away. She chased him, but she couldn’t find him. She went back to home unwillingly. Then, Ricardo was in front of her house. He had her bag. She noticed that she took his bag in mistake at last. So, when a thief opened the bag, there were dirty shirts and dirty old jeans there. She could have her manuscript. She appreciated him deeply. I was glad to be able to get along each other. (210, total 8800)

  Book Review 1-13 " Billy and the Queen"

  I read a book whose title is “Billy and the Queen”. This main character is one boy. His name is Billy. He is 14 years old. He has a younger sister. They stayed at their grandmother’s house in Brighton. One day, he saw his bicycle. It was very old, so he wanted a new one. He asked his grandmother the way of earning money. Then, she taught them that they can get money if they could take a picture with Queen of England, and her schedule is written in magazines. They decided that they go to a lot of places which the Queen is planning to visit to take a picture with her. However, they didn’t get along well. Then, his sister, Rox had an idea. They went to one building. It was Madame Tussaud’s. There was the Queen there. They could take a picture with her! Two weeks later, that picture run in the magazine. They could get a prize and they could buy new bicycles. I thought that they has brave. The Queen is like to emperor in Japan. I can’t do such a thing. I think that they didn’t know about her well. I was glad to get new bicycles and get a prize. (208, total 8590)

  Essay 6 My favorite movie

  I like watching movies. I especially like “Rabbit Proof Fence” in foreign movies. This is the story that is described about aborigine from 1931 to 1970. I didn’t know about Aborigine in detail before I watched this movie. White rulers tried to adapt children of mixed parentage with aborigine to white society. They isolate children from their family.
  These main characters are three girls. It was terrible that deal with aborigine. Children of mixed parentage didn’t permit to marriage aborigine to make them marry white people. It has meaning that extinguishes black skin. White rulers thought that white skins are intelligent. Three girls were also found by white rulers, and they took to an asylum after all. If the children didn’t listen to white people says, they are punished. They had to work, spoke only English, and urinated in bucket there. So, native people called white rulers for “devil”.
  Finally, three girls were carried off. They lived for a few days, but one of girls couldn’t put up with it. Then, she decided that she and other two girls run away, and they met their mother who is at home. However, one of girls whose name is Gracy was caught by white ruler on the way. So, the other two girls aimed for their home. They couldn’t eat anything many days, and they tumbled, but they kept walking 1500 miles for 90 days that they believe their mother is over the fence.
  At last, they arrived at their hometown. They and their mother were glad and cried. Then, they lived not to find for white rulers. They married native people, and bore the baby. However, she was also carried off, and she couldn’t meet her mother again.
  This story is an adaptation of the true story. This movie was shock to me because I didn’t know such fact until now. I know only thing that white people thought they are superior to black people. I became sad that Japanese did such a same thing for Ainu. I thought that we take this fact, and we have to tell our children and make the world not to do that thing. (360, total 8382)

  I read a book whose title is “The Town Mouse and the Country Mouse”. This is the story about two mice which live in town and country. Pipin is the country mouse and Toby is the town mouse. Pipin always eats nuts, some berries and so on. He lives in a house in a hedge, and He sleeps with grass bed that he makes by himself. One day, Toby came to Pipin’s house. He didn’t like Pipin’s life. So they decided to go to Toby’s house. They went in man’s bag, and took the train. When they arrived at Toby’s town, there were a lot of people. Pipin was very surprised. Toby’s house was very big. They played with toys and went to the dining room. They ate a pie, cheese, chocolate sauce and so on. Then, one big cat aimed at them. They were chased by a cat. Pipin became to hate Toby’s life. At last, Pipin went back to his home. They thought that their lives are suitable for them. I like both the country and the town, but I like the country better because my hometown is the country. I like nature. I know a lot of interesting things in the country. I want everyone to know goodness about the country. I’m happy to experience both lives. (220, total 8022)

  My best friend

  I also went back to my hometown, Amakusa next weekend because my best friend whose name is Akiyo said to me that she was going to go back to Amakusa. She is a college student at Fukuoka University and she is also majoring in English. She is going to Canada to stay with a family in this summer vacation. So we can’t meet for a long time. I decided that I go back to Amakusa. I picked up her at the Misumi station by my driving and we went to Amakusa together. First, we went to Amakusa driving school because we had commuted there last summer. We could meet our teacher after a long separation. We talked about a lot of things. I thought that it was a nice choice to go to this driving school. I want to go there if I had a chance. Next, we went to Amakusa high school. It’s a high school which we commute. We could meet a few teachers because that day is holiday. However, I was glad to be able to come back to our school. I had a very good time in my hometown. She is going to come back to Japan in September. I want to go to Fukuoka and want to hear about her life in Canada. (218, total 7802)

  I read a book whose title is “Lucky Break”. This main character was Tom who plays football. One day, he was pushed by someone during the football game, and he broke his leg. He was said “It’s not lucky day” by one man. A week later, he was reading a newspaper. He knew that his favorite movie star, Laurel Rowe comes to the movie theater to see her new movie. He went there by a taxi. When he arrived at the movie theater, there were a lot of fans. Then, Laurel Rowe came. A lot of people crowded with her, and he was pushed by someone. He shouted who pushed him, and he fell. Then, his crutch hit Laurel Rowe’s leg. She also fell. She was very angry and she was laughed by everyone. He was hit with his crutch by her. Next day that accident was run in a newspaper. He became famous by it. Football game was held on Saturday. Some people came there to see Tom. After that game, Tom and his friends carried out an auction. They sold football goods and they also sold Tom’s crutch. They could sell them highly. They sent the money for the children at hospital. This story was very interesting.

  I love shopping

  I went shopping after school. Today was the last day of sale at PARCO. I was looking forward to going there for a long time. First, I went to 39 marts. I bought some belts and so on. I like this shop because all of items are very cheap. Next, I went to an accessory shop. I had wanted some pierced earrings, so I went there. There were a lot of pretty goods. I was puzzled which to choose, and I bought five pierced earrings at last. All of them are very nice so I was satisfied with them. Next, I went to News. This is my favorite store. I went to jeanasis and earth music and ecology. I bought a pray parka there. It was held in sale there, so I could it at a low price. Finally, I went to PARCO. I watched a lot of shops and I bought a black skirt, a flower t-shirt and a stripe one piece at mysty woman and page boy. I couldn’t go shopping well, so I had a very good time and I could buy very nice goods. I was satisfied with this time’s shopping. I’m planning to go to Fukuoka and Kagoshima to do shopping.   My younger brother

  I went back to my hometown, Amakusa to go to watch my younger brother’s baseball game. My younger brother whose name is Kota is a high school student and he plays baseball. He is the third grade student, so this time was the last game for him. Next day, I went to Yatsushiro to watch his game with my parents. His team’s first opposition was Kumamoto denpa technical college. I didn’t know if that team is strong, but I hoped to win his team. The game started. His team got the point on ahead! We were very exciting. However, his team was come from behind. At last the game finished. His team lost. He and his teammate were very chagrined. His team lost, but it was very nice game! All of them did their best. I want to do his best for the examination next. It was a nice homecoming. (150, total 7156)

  My weekends plan

  I'm going to get back my hometown in this weekends. I have a younger brother. He is 17 years old and he is the third grade student in high school. He belonged to a baseball club. On this Sunday, his last game will hold in Yatsushiro. I can't go to watch his game well, so I want to watch the last game. I heard my mother that he practices hard everyday until late. I'm going to go to cheer up him and his team with my parents. I hope that his team wins. Also, I'm going to go to my grandparents's house. They live in Reihoku town in Amakusa, but I have not seen for a long time, so I'm looking forward to seeing them. (125, total 7006)

  Essay 5 The worst day in my life

  The worst day in my life is the dogs which I had were died. I had had two dogs before whose names were Koro and Ryu. Kor had lived for more than 15 years, and Ryu had lived for about 6 years, but both of them had already dead.
  Koro had been in my house before I was born. He was a very big and a white dog. At first, my mother had him. I like dogs very much, so I brought up him with my mother. He attached to me, and I was very glad to that thing. I always played with him, and it was my job to take him out. I took him with my mother because Koro was very big, so I couldn’t go alone. When he was 14 years old, he was gradually weak. He got a sick. He couldn’t run because he was old, and sickness. Also, he had to shave his bristle. I couldn’t look at him well because I thought he is poor. He died before long. I didn’t know what happen first. My mother told me that he died. I was very sad because I couldn’t play together. He taught me about the death. My parents took him to the temple, and buried him at the grave.
  A few days ago, Ryu came to my house. He is my 9 year’s birthday present. I was very glad to play with a dog again. I almost took care of him. He also attached me. He was very naughty dog. He was often scolded by my mother because he mess. When he was 5 years old, we also got a sick. Koro occurred to my mind then. I thought he also dies, and I cried. He also died before long. I was sorry for them. I accused me of his death.
  They were same grave now, and their pictures are displayed at my family Buddhist alter and my house’s living room. I never forget them. They are my family from now on. (339, total 6872)

  I read a book whose title is "Mr. Putter & Tabby take the Train". Mr. Putter lives with his pet, Tabby. Mrs. Teaberry is his friend and neighbor, and she lives with her pet, Zeke. One day she called him, and said that she has a good idea. Her idea is to take the train. Mr. Putter loved to take the trains, so he thought he also wants to take the train. However, he worried that they can bring the pets, Tabby and Zeke. Mrs. Teaberry said that pets are allowed to take the train. In fact, it's not allowed. They couldn't take the train with their pets. They were very disappointed at that thing, but they didn't give up. Mr. Putter came up with another idea. Mr. Putter put Zeke in his rucksuck, and Mrs. Teaberry put Tabby in her big bascket. At last, they could take the train together. They enjoyed looking at beautiful views from the train window, and ate banana crunchies. They could spend a good time on the train. It's a bad thing to take the train with their pets without saying, but I want to have pets take the train. I want to travel with my pets! I like this book's series because it's easy to read, and I can't predict their act. I want to read other series. (226, total 6533)

  My most favorite singer is Miliya Kato. I have been to her concert once. Her voice is so cool and she is very good at singing. I was always moved by her songs. She published the new albam whose title is "Ring" yesterday, and decided to do the concerts! She also comes to Fukuoka on that concert. Besides, the day of the concert at Fukuoka is September 25. It's my birthday! I decided to go to the concert. I think that concert is a birthday present for me. I was very happy to get the tickets! I'm looking forward to seeing her and listening to her music from now on. (111, total 6307)

  Book Review 1-9 "Get the Ball!"

  I read a book whose title is "Get the Ball!". This story was about the soccer game. This story appeared four people, Jenny, Kerry, Alex and Anthony. Alex was the Blue team, and Jenny cheered his team. Anthony was the Red team, and Kerry cheered his team. Jenny was happy, but Kerry was not happy when the Blue team scored a goal. On the other hand, Kerry was happy, but Jenny was not happy when the Red team scored a goal. They played a very nicfe game, but Alex often played foul for Anthony. Anthonu was very angry, so he kicked the ball far away. Alex was obliged to get the ball, but Anthony was running to him. Anthony pushed Alex because some bags dropped down the ball. He was almost buried under the bags. Cause of this thing, they became good friends. I played some sports before, I knew both feelings. However, the most important thing is to do fair play. I think we are rival at the game, but we are also friends that we play the same sport. I want to take part in sports when I read this book. (191, toatl 6196)

  We like softball!

  I belonged to a softball club in high school. We got together with softball club's teammate and manager after a long separation. First, we drank and ate at Uotami. We let each other know how I've been getting along. I thought that everyone does their best. After that, we enjoyed eating, drinking, and talking! Next, we went to another bar. We spent a very good time there. Finally, we went to Karaoke. We were in there for seven hours. We sang a lot of songs. I had a very nice time. We couldn't meet fluently, but we are good friends from now on. We promised that we will do a barbecue in our hometown, Amakusa. I'm looking forward to doing it! (121, total 6005)

  The most memorable day in my life

  The most memorable day in my life was the general athletic meeting when I was third grade of high school. I had played softball from junior high school to high school, for 6 years. That meeting was the last game for me. We practiced hard for that game, we practiced until late, and we didn’t want to leave regrets. However, I had flu just before the meeting. I was in bed for about five days. I was very regrettable because I couldn’t condition myself for the game. I recovered barely the day before the meeting, and I could play. All of my teammates worried about me. I troubled them. At last, our last game began. I remember that I very tensed. We formed a circle and we promised that we are sure to win. We did our best! I could get a point. There were a lot of nice plays and battings, but our team lost. We were regrettable and cried. Of course, we were regrettable that we lost the game, but we were sad that we couldn’t play softball again, the best. Practice was very hard, and I sometimes felt bad, but my softball life became the best memory of my high school days. I don’t play softball now and my teammates came apart, but we are still best friends because I spent most of life at high school with them. I won’t forget about that game. I want to play softball again if we had a chance. (250)

  Examination of secretary was held on last Saturday. I studied hard for that day. That test was about quality of secretary, job knowledge, general knowledge, manner and skill.   Happy Birthday dear my friends!

  My friends, Yikie and Haruna and I held a birthday party for Nozomi and Risa. Their birthday is June, so we were planning to do together. Before the party, we went to buy birthday presents. we very worried what to give, and we decided Anna sui because both of them like this brand. Next, we went to buy a birthday cake. At that cake shop, we can decide everything. For example, shape, taste, decoration and so on. We were satisfied with a birthday cake that we decided. The day of birthday party came. We went to the bar. We drank to their birthday, and we gave them birthday presents. They were very surprised because they didn't know that today is a birthday party! After that, we talked a lot about school life, club and so on. Time flashed by. Then, one of my friends brought a birthday cake. They were very surprised again. We ate it deliciously. I was very happy because they were pleased. We became friends at this university. We are best friends. I want to maintain a friendship forever. We had a very good time.   Overseas travel club!!

  Our overseas travel club went to camp in last weekend. We went to the village of wind, in Aso. This camp was held for freshmen. First, we left from school, and arrived at the camp site. We changed our cloths, and started to talk about our school festival, Takumasai. We decided section readers and we talked to what to sell. Next, we prepared for a barbecue, and started a barbecue. I ate a lot and talked with my friends a lot of things. After that, we drank at the room. The first grade students are very cute and cool! I was glad to be able to get along with them. After the convivial meeting, we were asleep. The next morning, we cleared our room, and we left from the camp site. We had a very good time. We are planning to go to Otachi cape and Korea in Summer vacation. Maybe it's the last travel for the third grade students in the club. I want to make good memories with them.   I read a book whose title is "The Goose that laid the Golden Eggs". There were two people whose names are Tom and Elena, and they were very poor. They got everything by their self they needed. One day, a goose which they had laid a golden egg. It was very heavy. Tom sold the golden egg for the goldsmith, and got a lot of money. He bought a new dress for Elena by that money, but she wasn't happy. She wanted to use money for other things, but he had spent all money. The next day, a goose laid a golden egg again, and the next day again. Thanks to golden eggs, they were very rich, but he wanted more eggs. They thought a goose had a lot of golden eggs, so they killed that goose. However, the goose didn't have them. They returned to poor life. They became greedy. I think money is very scary because it changed personality. (161)

  I went to Tamana in Kumamoto the other day because my local friend, Rikako lives in Tamana to work. She became a hairdresser from this year, so she colored my hair. First, we went to her house. It was very beautiful and large. I thought I want to live there. We ate lunch there. Next, she colored my hair. She was good at coloring, and I was satisfied with my hair's color. We talked a lot of things because we had seen for a long time. I had a very good time. We promised that we meet again next month. I'm looking forward to seeing her from now on. (110, total 4790)

  I read a book whose title is "Mr. Putter and Tabby Bake the Cake". This main character is Mr. Putter that is an old man. Mr. Putter and his cat, Tabby likes winter because winter had Christmas. He likes to send Christmas presents. He had thought about Christmas presents since July. He sends a lot of presents every year, but he didn't come up with Christmas present for his neighbor, Mrs. Teaberry. She likes strange things, and she likes a fruit cake. He knew that she likes strange things, but he didn't know she likes a fruit cake. He decided to make a fruit cake by himself, but he didn't know how to cook and he also didn't have tools of cook it. One day, he went to the sweet shop. There was famous for the cake. He had her taught how to cook and bought necessary things. He cooked hard for Mrs. Teaberry. He cooked a fruit cake all night long, so he slept without notice. Mrs. Teaberry noticed that thing, and she prepared for the Christmas party. When Mr. Putter woke up, Mrs. Teaberry was in his house. She was glad to his cooking a fruit cake, and they had the Christmas party together.I like this book! Mr. Putter likes a Santa Claus. I thought the people who got Christmas present by Mr. Putter are happiness. I also like winter because winter has a lot of big events.   ROOKIES!

  I went to watch a movie with my friends, Emi, Airi and Shiori. We had promised to watch that movie for a long time. That movie's title is "Rookies". It was broadcasted by TV last year. We like baseball so we were looking forward to be showing it. It was a story that boys which goes to Futago Tamagawa high school aim for Kosien. They were group of hoodlums because of one accident. However, one teacher whose name is Kawato changed them. They really like baseball and they couldn't give up a dream of Kosien. At last, they could do to Kosien!! I was very happy and moved. I thought the people who play hard some sports are cool. I want to play something now! Rookies became a one of my favorite movies. I want to go to watch it again. (141, total 4418)

  After I went to watch the softball game, I went to drink and eat with my friends, Emi and Ai. We went to Uotami. We ate a lot of foods and drank a lot. We talked about the past and now for a long time. Emi and I are college student, but Ai is a member of society. We listened about her job. Ai is one year my junior, but I respect for her. A few years later, we went to Round1 because my friend, Rima came. We played a lot if sports. All of us likes sports, we were very exciting! We had a very good time. We are going to meet next week.   Softball!!

  I went to a sports park to watch softball games with my teammate in high school. It was a general athletic meeting. It was the last game for third grade students at high school. The first match was Reimei high school in Amakusa. I really know about that team so I was excited! Our school won that game. I was very glad. Next day, the second game was played. Our school fighted with Kokufu high school. That team is very strong every year. I was anxious if they can win. Both of two teams couldn't get points easily. Eventually, our school lost, but it was a very nice game! I want to play softball again. (115, total 4152)

  I'm going to go to buy a birthday present with my friend. Tomorrow is my best friend, Maki's birthday. We exchange birthday present each other every year. I don't decide what to buy, but she likes photos and sundry goods, so I'm going to buy photo stand and interior goods.
  She lives in Fukuoka now, so I have to send them. I want to surprise at her, and I hope that she is glad to watch it. Please tell me if you know the shops that are sold pretty goods. (90, total 4037)

  My favorite food!

  I like almost every kinds of sweets. Above all things, I like ice cream very much! Ice creams are very cool, delicious and have many kinds. Of course, I like ice creams that are sold at convenience store or supermarket, but I like ice cream at 31 ice cream the best. My favorite tastes are powdered green tea and jamocha coffee. They are not so sweet, but very nice taste. I always bought one of it. I want to overcome all kinds there. I ate fresh caramel ice cream recently. On the center of it, there is a fresh caramel. It was very sweet, and a feeling of it was good. I want to challenge various kinds. (117, total 3947)

  May 20th, the girls that are in our club held the girls party. First, we went to buy a lot of foods and drinks, and we also bought a birthday cake and cracker because one of girl, Tomoyo's birthday is May. Next, we went to karaoke Montecalro. We sang about 3 hours, and celebrated a birthday. She was very surprised and glad. I was also happy. I had not talked with first grade students, but I became to get along with them thanks to this party.
  We will stay in a camp for friendship in June 6 and 7. I want to get along with freshmen at this camp. I'm looking forward to doing from now. (116, total 3830)

  I'm going to go to watch the baseball game on weekend. My younger brother appears it. My brother is high school student, and he is third grade now. So this year is the last that he plays baseball in his high school. His position is right. I can't advise him because I never have played that position, but I often go to watch his games with my family. He always practices hard, and he also practices in holidays. I respect for him. I want to win tomorrow's game. Preliminary contest in Kumamoto will be held in July. I'm going to go to support him team because it is his last game. I also want to win that game. (118)

  I bought this hair accessory by mail order. My favorite singer is Kato Miliya, and this accessory was designed by her. I had wanted it for a long time, but it was sold out when I was going to buy. Several weeks after, I got a mail from Miliya's shop's company that accessory received. I was very happy, so I ordered it soon. A few days after, it arrived at my house! It was prettier than I thought. I went to the school with wearing it at once. My friend told me that it is cute. This accessory became to be one of my favorite things. I want to buy again from Miliya's shop if there is my like. (120)

  On August 1st, music festival will be held in country park in Kumamoto. A-vex's singer, TRF, Ayumi Hamasaki, Do As Infinity, Kumi Koda, Ai Otsuka, AAA and so on. I like them very much, and I especially like Do As Infinity so I'm very happy! Also, I have wanted to see Ayumi Hamasaki, so I'm exciting! A lot of big singers such as them rarely come to Kumamoto. I'm looking forward to going there and seeing them from now. I listen to their songs, and I want to remember them. I think this will be my big event in this summer vacation. (103)

  I like animals very much. I like to go to the zoo, so I often go some place with my family or friens. Above all things, I like dogs. I had had two dogs before. Their names are Koro and Ryu. Koro is a kind of spitz, and Ryu is a kind of shiba-ken. I always played with them, and I also took a walk with them everyday. It was my job that I take care of them. They were attached to me, and I was very glad to that thing.
  Koro had been in my house before I was born. He was a big dog, so I was afraid of him, but he was very passive and friendly. I became to like him soon. He had lived for 15 years. When he died, I was very sad, but thanks to him, I could like animals.
  Ryu came to my house when I was an elementary school student. My parents gave him for me as my birthday present. I was sad because Koro died, so I was glad my parents favor. I named after him “Ryu”. I didn’t remember why I named Ryu, but its name was match with him. He was very naughty dog, so he always plays up, but to play with him was my pleasure. He could live only 10 years. I was sad, and I thought that he died with me. However, thanks to him, I knew importance of life.
  They already died now, but they are my family forever. I very appreciate for them. I like dogs, so I want to have a lot of dogs in the future. （２８０）

  I like Rookies that is a TV drama. It is a story that one baseball team aims at Kosien with their zeal supervision. May 30th, it will be presented to the public as a movie. My friend knew that I like it, so she got me that ticket! I was very glad that thing. I'm going to go to see it with her and other two friends. I very appreciate for her. So I'm going to take her and other friends to a restaurant. I'm looking forward to seeing it from now. (92)

  Book Review 1-5 "Old Boat, New Boat"

  I read a book whose title is "Old Boat, New Boat". This story's main characters are four young people. One day, Ryan and his father threw away their old boat on the beach. Their country prohibits them from throwing away or putting things on the beach. The next morning, Ryan's friends, Tyler, David and Faye found the old boat there. They wanted it, so they carried it to the Tyler's house. It was an old boat, so they had to fix it and it costed a lot of money. They worked hard, and earned a lot of money. One Saturday, they and Tyler's father fixed it, put the engine and painted it. The old boat was changed a new boat by them. Ryan watched that things by accident. After that, they brought it to the beach. Then, Ryan said "That boat is mine. I want it back". They were angry, so they started to take engine or other things off the boat, and a man who takes garbages from the beach told Ryan to pay money because Ryan throw away a boat. Ryan worried, and went back home. Ryan was a bad boy. We must not throw away on the beach or other places. They could recycle the boat! It was a good thing. When I read this book, I thought there are a lot of people like Ryan and his father in Japan. I hope all the people obey the rule. (243)

  Welcome to freshman Party

  The welcome to freshman party was held yesterday. It was held in Matsuya hotel. This party means that introduce my club's freshman for other club. Our club joined 18 people. They are all good boys and girls! Welcome party warmed up, and we could succeeded it. I felt relief that finished the party. After that, post-party party was held in near Matsuya. I enjoyed eating, drinking and talking. I had a very good time. I hope that freshmen like our club. (81)

  Book Review 1-3 "FIRE READY"

  I read a book whose title is "FIRE READY". It was a little difficult for me to read because there were some difficult words. This main character is Luca. He is a student. One Saturday, he was in his house. However, her mother didn't come back home until usually time. Then, he turned on the radio. At radio, "Fire-fighters warn spot fires at the base of the mountain may spread", announcer said. There was near his house, but there were no people except for Luca. Then, his mother called him, but a moment later, the phone cut out. By week two, he planed with his father and mother, and they acted their plan to product their cottage. After that, he waited until then. He finished wetting his house before fire-fighter come his house. His mother and he run in the newspaper.
  I could not understand well, but I thought that his mother and he are brave. If I were he, I can't do anything. (167)

  May third was my grandmother’s birthday. She became 75 years old. I gave her roll cake of powdered green tea and bouquet. She likes flower and powdered green tea, so she was very pleased at this thing. She and I can’t meet fluently. She always has me in her mind.

  I met my frineds, Airi, Shiori and Asuka at the end of golden week. My friends and I were club's teammate in high school. We went to eat monja-yaki. It was twice time to eat it.   I played my local friend, Akiyo. She and I have been friend for about 18 years. We are best friends. First, we went to eat lunch at MOS burger. We ate “Kara terry-yaki burger”. It was made in Sukkiri of TV program. I’m poor at eating spicy foods, but it was very delicious. Of course it’s very hot, but I want to eat it again.
  Next, we went to Reihoku in Amakusa. On the way to there, there was a very beautiful sea. It was sunny day then, so we soaked foot in sea. When we arrived at Reihoku town, we watched some rocks. They are called “Oppai rock”. It’s famous in Amakusa. They are said that there are some benefits if we touch it. It was first time to watch them. We couldn’t touch them, but we were happy to watch them. There are a lot of attraction tourists in Amakusa. So I want to go and see other places. (161)

  My hobby is watching sports. I especially like baseball. I went to Miyazaki to watch WBC’s camp with my family. They were a lot of professional baseball players. We were very exciting and happy to see them. Ichiro was very cool. We could see his diving catches and back catch. I watched all games of WBC. Japan became to a champion! I was moved. I want to watch regular match on live next. Now, Japan professional league matches are held. I cheer up Giants and Softbank Hawks.   Essay 2 My treasure

  I have a lot of treasures. My family and friends are my favorite treasures, of course. Of all others, I have two favorite treasures.
  
  First is my softball grove. I had played softball for 6 years from junior high school to high school. My father bought it for me before I entered a junior high school. All of people in my family like baseball, so I wanted to play catch with them soon. I have 3 gloves, but the glove I first used is the best. I practiced hard with it everyday. I often tend it, and I always carried it. I was poor at playing softball, so it was out of order soon, but I had used it until I entered a high school for 3 years. I don’t play softball now, and I also don’t use it, but it is my treasure forever.
  
  Second are my pictures with my friends and family. I like taking pictures and watching them. I always take pictures when we do something or held some events. Especially, the pictures that I took with my family and local friends make me encourage. I live by myself and most of my local friends live in out of Amakusa, so we can’t meet them well. I often feel lonely. So I recall of my school days, club activities, sightseeing and other lot of happy things when I saw them. They teach me that everyone work hard and study hard, so I can cheer up. Of course, the pictures which are taken with my university’s friends are also my treasure. I want to take pictures from now on, and I want to make a lot of memories with them.

  My club activities were held on Wednesday. We went to ROUND1. I had been there twice, but I was looking forward to going there. We enjoyed playing "Spotcha". There are a lot of sports places. We played basketball, volleyball, batting, table tennis and so on. I had not played them for a long time, so I was very tired. The end of activities, we had a birthday party. There is 6 people that were born in April, so we held it. I was happy because they were very glad. I want to do it again. (95)

  I read a book whose title is “The Blind Men and the Elephant”. This is the story that six blind men couldn’t see an elephant, so they go to the prince’s palace to see an elephant. Six men can’t see, but they can know anything in many ways. They couldn’t see an elephant. Therefore, they decided to go to see him. When they arrived at the prince’s palace, they touched an elephant one by one. The first man thought he is like a wall, the second man thought he is like a snake, the third man thought he is like a spear, the fourth man thought he is like a tree, the fifth man thought he is like a fan, and the sixth man thought he is like a rope. Six men touched the same animal, but they felt different things. They are all right, and they are also wrong. The elephant is very big. They touched the different part of him. The prince taught them that thing. When I read this book, I was surprised because I have never thought such a thing. My images of elephant are big and long nose. I thought the blind men have a lot of sensibility. They can’t see, but they can imagine. I want to touch something without seeing. (219)

  Hello! My name is Saki Y. I’m 20 years old. I’m a student at KGU, and I’m majoring in English. I’ll introduce my family. I have four members in my family, my father, mother and younger brother. My father is a construction officer. He is sometimes strict, but very gentle. My mother works in a supermarket as a part-timer. She is very active and interesting. My younger brother is a high school student. He plays baseball. He and I are same birthday! I’m proud of it.
  My hometown is Amakusa in Kumamoto. It has a lot of beautiful seas and mountains, so I like nature. You can experience “Dolphin Watching” in Amakusa. Please come to Amakusa if you visit Japan.
  
  My hobbies are watching and playing sports, and going shopping. I especially like baseball and basketball. I played softball for 6 years, and I also played basketball for 3 years.   I played with my local friends, Airi, Shori and Himiko. We cooked pizza and Takoyaki together. I'm not good at cooking, but my friends taught me, so I could cook!   Nice trip to Oita!

  I went to Aso and Oita with my high school's friends in spring vacation. I drove by myself! I was very anxious about my driving skill, but I could drive safety. First, we went to Aso milk farm. There were a lot of cows, sheep and other animals. We saw one cow which is marked heart on her head. She is called "Tsuno chan" by everyone. I heard that I become happy if I touch his heart mark. I touched it soon, and took a picture together. Then we had a lunch there. It was very delicious. After that we went to Oita, and went to our hotel. Oita is famous for hot spring. We enjoyed it and we also enjoyed drinking and eating.
  
  The next day, we went to Kigima Kogen park. We rode a lot of vehicles. I don't like scream machines, but I rode a lot. I was very excited! Next, we went back to Aso, and we bought some souvenirs. I had a very good time! I want to go there with them again. (178)

  Korea!

  I enjoyed traveling in spring vacation. I went to Busan, in Korea with my local friens, Sae, Akiyo and Maki. We had planed to go to Korea for a long time. We stayed a hotel for a day, and stayed a ship for a day, so we had little time to enjoy Korea. However, we went to a lot of places, National market, Lotte duty-free shop, underground shopping arcade and so on. We bought a lot of things! I especially bought cosmetics. It was my main purpose. Also we ate some Korean nice foods. I like Korean barbecued beef the best. It was different from Japan. Korean eat them with lettuce or other leaf! It was very delicious. To surprise the best was that Korean foods and goods are very cheap! Also, taxi fare and other fare are cheap. I became to like Korea. I enjoyed shopping, but I didn't enjoy seeing tourist attractions. So I want to go to Korea again. You had better go to Korea if you have time. (172)

  I read a book whose title is "Dog in School". This is the story that one dog which has a fluffy coat and floppy ears followed the girl. Her name is Sam. She met him on the way to school. She didn't know his name, so she named after him "Mystery". Mystery entered her achool at his discretion, and he occured happening that involve teachers and children. After that Sam and a teacher took him back to his house. Sam told that dog's master that she named after him Mystery. They said "His name is Trouble". I thought Trouble is match his name. This story was very simple, but interesting. When I was a elementary school student, it happened that same thing. I like dogs, so I would have done such a same thing to them. I want to read again if I had a chance. (148)

  November 14 was my friend, Emi's birthday. She is my local friend. So, our friend, Shiori and I celebrated her on that day. Before the party begin, I went to buy her birthday present and birthday cake. I bought a scarf which was made by a rabbit fur for her. I worried if she is glad to see it, but she was very glad and she wore it soon.
  We gave a birthday party at Izakaya. We ate a lot of foods and drank, and we talked about many things. Then, we went to karaoke, and we sang for two hours. I had a delightful time at this party.
  We frequently can't meet. So I was glad to see them! We promised to travel together in spring vacation. I'm looking forward to going momentarily! (143)

  Dewey who is a guitarist loves Rock musics with body and soul, but he was fired from his band because of his too hot a passion and his liberty performances. If he comes back home, he was said to pay for the house rent by his friend, Ned, and Ned's girlfriend. So he was at a loss. Then, he got a talk that the elementary school whose name is Holes Green wants Ned to be a substitute teacher. He goes to school pretending to Ned because he wanted a job.
  
  He was not about to work from the beginning, but he noticed that the children of that school don't have vigor because that school has a lot of strict rules. Also, he found that children have an ability in music. So he comes up to take part in band battle secretly. (145)

I listen to them every day. i very appreciate for my father. I like "better days -sweet love side" the best in this CD, but I like all songs of her! I want to listen to her necked voices. (77)

  1. What is your usual writing/blogging schedule each week? Where do write/blog?
  I write bolgs about in Wednesday and Friday, but it is different in a week. I almost write blogs in the school.
  
  2. Please look at your first post from Spring term and compare it with what you are writing now. What improvements do you see with your English and what do you think you should work on to improve?
  I think I almost wrote short words in the spring term, but I can write more longer words now. I didn't make a mistake in grammar compared on the spring term.

  I think it is good to write movie reviews because we can get not only writing skills but also listening skills of English.

  My weekens!

  My parents visited to my apartment in November 7 and 8. We went to a hot spring together. We go to hot spring every time they come to my house.
  Next day, we went to Granmesse Kumamoto together. I drove a car after a long separation. I worried whether I can drive, but I could drive more than expected.
  Thanksgiving was held there by KKT. I saw Suzannu and casters of zoom in super! They were so cute and cool. I was glad to meet them. My senior sold ice creams there, and he gave it for me. It was very delicious!! I want to eat again.
  Then, we went to many places, and we enjoyed doing shopping. I had a very good time.
  Next week, I'm going to go back my home in Amakusa. So I'm looking forward to seeing them. (144)

  School Festival!!

  A school festival was held on last weekends at KGU. It is called Takumasai. We went to school early morning for preparing. Our club sold a lot of cheese cakes and we examined culture and made cloths and building in Korea. I sold a lot of cheese cakes for three days, and cheese cakes were sold out! I was very glad!
  Other club's bazaars and displays were very good. I biught a lot of foods, and all of them were delicious. I want to do our best next year.
  Then, The last day of school festival was our senior's retirement. We made albums for them. It was hard for us, but I was glad to please. I feel lonely, but I want to do same thing for freshmans.

  Miriyahhhh!!

  I went to Tamana to watch Kato Miriya with my local friend,makoto. I was happy because I have seen long time. Miriya came to Kyushu Kango Fukushi University for the school festival. Her concert will start at 14:00, but a lot of people had lined since early morning.
  Then, her concert started!! I could see her very close. She was so cute!! I was excited and moved by her songs. My most favorite song is "Saigono I love you" all of her songs. I became like her more! I want to see her again.

  My club is going to sell cheese cakes in school festival. So we make it experimentally every week. We made a lot of cheese cake last week. I made marenge many times. We missed some times, but we could make which we are satisfied last. On this weekend, we are going to make again. Also, we will consider some souces on cheese cake. It was very big and powerful! We took about one and a half months. We had a lot of trouble, but we were very happy because we could make that we hope.

  I went to the river with my local friends. This river is in Amakusa. It is famous for very much. We went there by my friends' driving. A friend that drove a car got a driver's license together. She was good at driving! The river was beautiful and cool. We were swimming a little. We had a good time there, and we think that we want to do camp there!

  My parents visited to my house, so I went to Mt. Aso and Kikuchi valley with my family. I drove a car! My parents told me that they were worried about my driving. Mt. Aso was a very beautiful scene, but I little felt bad smell.

  Driver's license!!

  My big event in summer vacation was to get a driver's license! I went to driving school with my friends everyday. I went to Amakusa driving school. It's my hometown. The teachers that are in Amakusa driving school are very funny. I had a very good time with them. I could get for 20 days. I went to a lot of places with my friends by my driving!! I will drive safty from now on.

  Beijing Olympic begins on August 10th! I'm looking forward to watching it from now. The events that I notice are girls volleyball, baseball, and softball. Above all things, baseball and softball may be last in Beijing Olympic. I don't want to be end them. So, I will cheer it up!

  Congratulations on participation for Koshien!

  Koshien begins from August second. I saw some preliminary games in Kumamoto because I like baseball, and my younger brother took part in it. My brother's team's first opponent was Yatsushiro technical high school. He is still second grade, so he couldn't play. However, he has strong feeling to win. His team lost at first game. I couldn't watch that game, but I think they were do their best. Next year is his year! I want to watch a game at stadium.
  Kumamoto's delegate team is Johoku high school, and their first opponent is Miyazaki commercial high school. I want them to win for all of the team in Kumamoto.

  SPARTACUS

  I saw a movie whose title is "SPARTACUS". The scene of this story is on the Roman Empire. This main character is Spartacus. He is a slave. He was worked at ironwork. One day, he is sold by fencer. He has a strong will and wisdom. Slaves have to fight each other to satisfy for spectators who are Roman. All of them think it is wrong, but they can't say such a thing because they are slave. All of them who are slave couldn't stand everything, and they decided that they run away and make an army of slaves. Spartacus invited a lot of slaves. They were very happy that they are free and useful as a human. As a result, they lost. Then, they were died on the cross at the road which walk Roman. They suffered humiliation. However, I think they didn't have regrets because that way was the best for them. Finally, one slave was kiberated. It is Spartacus's wife. Spartacus cared for other slaves, his wife and his child to the end. I think that he is really strong and brave man. Now, discriminations don't disappear. We have to think that things, and We should change our thiught.

  Next wwek is test week, so I'm studying hard now. I'm anxious for it! I have nine tests in test weeks. Also, I have four tests on a first day! cultual anthropology, theory of international organization, Japanese modern history and physics. This day is a crisis in test! I didn't want to fail only one.   Adventures of Huckleberry Finn

  I saw a movie whose title is "Adventures of Huckleberry Finn" at history of American literature. This main characters are one white child and one black man. This story is described about their friendship. In those days, black people are treated as a slave, not a human. a white child was used violence by his father. He thought that he may be killed by his father, so he ran away, and he pretended that he is killed by robber.
  On the other hand, a black man also run away to go to Cairo. He wanted to save his wife and child. They meet, and they decided that they make a trip together. On the way to go to Cairo, they have a lot of troubles, and a white child whose name is Huck told a lot of lies, and sometimes tried to betray a black man whose name is Jim. However, their friendship didn't loose a lot of troubles. Huck told a lot of lies, but he has a strong sense of equity. Jim was liberated from a slave. Their act changed a lot of common sense. I could know about a system of slave, and I also knew that thing is wrong.

  I found new part-time job. I haven't been doing part-time job since March, so I decided to do it. My new work spot is convenience store, whose name is Family mart. I have never worked there, so I'm worried if I can do best. However, all of the people who works there are kind to me. I want to continue until I graduate this university. Family mart that I'm working is in a street of Hakuzan, so please come to buy something!!

  I read a book whose title is "Bad Dog? Good Dog!". This main characters are a brother and sister, and one dog. They are asked by their mother to go shopping together. When she was going to buy some foods, Ji-sung was playing game neglecting a dog. Than, a dog run away having a meat! He hit an old woman, and ignored the traffic light and so on. They chased for him, but they couldn't catch up. Everyone thought that he is a bad dog. A dog came back to Farina's house, and he gave a meat for his puppies. Surely, he did wrong things, but he is a good father for puppies. He didn't want to trouble people. He wanted puppies to to eat a meat! I thought he is a bad dog first, but I could understand his feeling last. I think that people and dogs are same for thinking own babies first. I'm glad to read this book.

  Essay 7 A movie review

  I saw the movie whose title is “Rabbit Proof Fence”. This is the story that is described about aborigine from 1931 to 1970. White rulers tried to adapt children of mixed parentage with aborigine to white society. They isolate children from their family.
  
  These main characters are three girls. It was terrible that deal to aborigine. Children of mixed parentage don’t permit to marriage aborigine to make them marry white people. It has meaning that extinguishes black skin. White rulers think that white skins are intelligent. Three girls are also found by white rulers, and they take to an asylum after all. If children don’t listen to white people says, they are punished. They have to work, speak only English, and urinate in bucket there. So, native people call white rulers for “devil”.
  
  Finally, three girls are carried off. They live a few days, but one of girls couldn’t put up with it. Then, she decides that she and other two girls run away, and they meet their mother who is at home. However, one of girls whose name is Gracy was caught by white ruler on the way. So, the other two girls aim for home. They couldn’t eat anything many days, and they tumbled, but they keep walking 1500 miles for 90 days that they believe their mother is over the fence.
  
  At last, they arrived at their hometown. They and their mother were pleased and cried. Then, they lived not to find for white rulers. They married native people, and the baby arrived. However, she was also carried off, and she couldn’t meet her mother again.
  
  This story is an adaptation of a true story. This movie was shock to me because I didn’t know such fact until now. I know only thing that white people think that they are superior to black people. I became sad that Japanese did such a thing for Ainu. I thought that we take this fact, we tell our children, and we must make the world not to do that things.

  I think blogging is very convenient! We can know each accidents and life through this blogging. I often go my friend's blog page, and I'm happy that I know their feelings. I often think that sometimes blogging is bad for me because my blog is watched every people. I think that I don't want to watch because my English may be wrong. So, I want to teach if my English is wrong. I want to use blogging from now on, and I want to use this function perfectly.

  I like beseball, and among all proffessional teams, I like softbank Hawks the best. I have been to watch their games, and I also watch their base camp! Their plays are very good and they are kind to fans. Especcially, I like Arakaki the best. He is a pitcher. I heve been watch his throwing. It is very fast, and his pitching is dynamic!! I had played softball, so he is my star. I don't go to watch their game this year, so I want to go summer vacation. I hope that softbank hawks is champion this year!!

  I like watching movies! One of my favorite movie is "The Notebook". It is said"きみに読む物語" in Japanese. This main characters are two older people. One old man came to the hospital to read story for old woman who is an Alzheimer's. They are husband and wife, but she doesn't remember that thing. So, he visits to her to tell their past as a story when she is good condition. She sometime remembers that story is their story. However, she forgets everything the next instant. She doesn't know even who he is. He repeats their story. They merried over a long time. They have difference about money. So, her parents didn't agree their marriage first, but they allowed last. Thay have a lot of stories. Than, when he finished to read all stories, she could remember everything, and she didn't forget. That night, they died. This is very sad story, but I'm glad to her remembering everything. If she didn't remember, they will both regret. Alzheimer's disease is very awful. I may suffer it. They died, but I think they are happy to die together. I want to see again.

  I read a book whose title is "Kim's Choice". This main character is Kim. She runs very fast! Owe it to that, she was invited to the athletic club. She wanted to join it, and her father agreed and cheered her up. She was good runner in that club. When she goes to the club, her father always goes with her. he recognized her ability, and he was very glad to her beginning to new thing. She had good rivals, she won a lot of competitions at school and the club. However, when she was 16 years old, she changed. This year was difficult for her. She thought that she wants to spend her friends, and she has a boy who she likes. Also, she went to the club only one evening. Than, she could be close friend with that boy whose name is Curtis. She was invited to the school disco, but it was held the day before her competition. She didn't decline ignoring her father's saying. She couldn't win the competition, and she didn't go to the club. Her father was unhappy because he can't see her running, but he thinks that she comes back. I think that I can't say her choice is right or wrong because I can understand both feelings. When I was a high school student, I devoted only club activities. I enjoyed it, but I was enviable of my friend that isn't in the club. However I have no regret now. I could learn a lot of things! So, I think we should have responsibility for our action.

Just that time, her mother noticed that she isn't at her room. He called her mother to come to the hospital, and her mother was very angry with him. However she said to her mother that she's bad, and she told everything. Lastly, her mother understood everything, and she apologized to him. They thought that they're good friends each other. I also have a lot of good friends, and my mother likes them. Sometimes I went shopping with my friend and mother. I didn't understand Yoko's mother's feeling because I have never said to my mother like her. However, if I were her, I would want to mother to like my friends. I was glad to understand to Yoko's mother that he is good boy.

  My keitai's maker is au. I have been using this company's keitai for 8 years. The keitai that I use now is white color,and I have been this for 4 months. So, this is new. I have never bought except for white and black color. I like that because it has a lot of functions. It can watch TV program, can buy something, and so on. A function that I often use is music player. I listen to music by it when I take the train and walk. It's very useful! I want to use this from now on.

  I read a book whose title is "BOOKSTORE VALENTINE". This book's main characters are a man and a cat. He runs bookstore. This store sells only ghost books because he likes them. One valentine day, he decided to discount for books. Than, a lot of people came to his store , he was very busy, and he couldn't do alone. He put up a notice about classified ad on a wall. Then, one woman said to him that she wants to work there. She also likes ghost! He became to like her, and she's ,too. However, they are very shy, so they can't tell their feelings each other. A cat that he has helped them with his friend's mice. Lastly, they knew each feelings, and happy end! The reason why I read this book was cute pictures! However, not only it, I was also happy that I read this book. This store is unusual, so I want to go there.
