Nowadays, the amount of obesity is increasing in North America. It is obvious that fast food shops such as McDonald’s and KFC are increasing. I think these problems are caused by society. There are three reasons: too many commercials and advertisements, too much work for people, and high cot of healthy foods.

There are too many commercials and advertisements of fast food shops in our society. We can see a lot of advertisements all over roads; in addition, they can make us hungry and thirsty. They give us presser to eat and drink to get more money. There are some fast food shops, so companies are doing competition between them. It become easy to eat if people see commercials or advertisements.

These days, some people don’t have much time to eat because they have to do too much work. Society gives people too much work, and it makes people really busy. We don’t spend so much time to eat fast food; in addition, fast foods are easy to eat. Thus, people don’t need to spend time to cook. It’s really convenient, however, it’s not good for our health.

We can avoid unhealthy food if we try to get organic foods, vegetables. However, healthy foods are too expensive so people can’t get them so often. Fast food is so cheap because it doesn’t have enough nutrition. Consequently, society has to think of the price of healthy foods.

Obesity can create an uncomfortable life. People should not have too much fast food, or we can’t stop the increase of obesity. The society gives effects to people by using commercials and advertisements, so society ought to reduce them.

Long Time No Write!

Hey!! How's going, everybody?? Long time no write!!haha

I haven't post blog for 2 months... I was just busy and a little lazy ;) haha I had a lot of fun in this 2 months but I had farewell with my friends :(
Almost my friends went back to Japan to do job hunting… So now, I’m really missing them soooooo much. Come back to Halifax, everyone------ !!! haha I can’t stop crying when they left, but I realized that nothing is going positive way even if I cry. So I stop crying and I always tell myself, “Be Positive, Be strong!!” Do you think so? Now, just hope my friends’ happiness and good luck with their life and job hunting.

Oh, I visited NY during Christmas season; Dec.24-Dec.26!! I had so much fun and NY is really big city!! There are lots of buildings with many kinds of advertisements around Times Square. We ate New York cheese cake at Roxy which is famous restaurant. It was really nice and cheese cake was so tasty!! But… it was too big for us so it was like we were doing food fight… haha

Now, I have to go so I’ll post more about my NY trip later ;) See ya !

Developed countries

Today, the people of the world have become more informed about each other and interconnected. People want to know more information and they can search on the internet or cell phones. In developed countries, wherever people are and whenever people want, they can use internet and search about a lot of things. Our societies are becoming more convenience. The more informed a country becomes, the more developed a country becomes.

People are trying to know different cultures and to adapt new things. Today, a lot of people are interested in different cultures and learning about them. For example, some people go abroad to study another languages and culture. In Japan, the amount of people who is studying abroad is increasing. Almost all of them are trying to learn English because English is common language in the world. We can speak and know each other by using English. People want to develop and improve themselves and this is one of factors that the people are becoming more informed. But people should not complain about different cultures; in other words, people should adapt to and understand those cultures.

There are some developed countries and some developing countries. In developed countries, people can feel comfortable in their life because people are more informed each other. People always try to know many kind of information. Today, people often use this word; “globalization”. Globalization is to spread information or economy beyond borders. So people try to develop to become more informed. The earth is getting more global.

There are a lot of problems in the world. For example, environmental problem is one of them. They make people in the world very informed because people need a lot of information to fix the earth. But it is not easy and it takes huge time. Problems are also one of factors and we should cooperate with each other. The problems are not good things, but people should solve problems as soon as possible.

A country becomes more developed if a country becomes informed. We have a lot of factors to become more informed and interconnected than ever before. However, it is the most important that people in the world cooperate with each other and solve problems without competition.

Thanksgiving!!

I had a good thanksgiving dinner with my roommate. She invited me her home and it was first time to have a thanks giving dinner. It was really good because I could eat turkey!! Turkey was really tasty ;) I talked a lot with her family and they were interested in Japanese, so I explained many things!! I was really glad and I think I should know more about Japanese culture. My roommate, Kelly took me the Cow Bay after dinner. Cow Bay was really beautiful place!! Kelly and I took a lot of pictures!! She can drive so we were driving for a while. I had really good time and I want to visit her house again ;) I really appreciate her and I think it is good for me that she is my roommate. I am lucky!!hehe

Japan doesn’t have thanksgiving but I think we should have such a day because I think it is important for us to stay with our family and talk with each other.

Oh, today is October 6th ?!?! I can’t believe!! The time is spending to fast ;(

Thursday is called Chicken Wings Day!! In famous restaurant which is near the university, we can chicken wings half price ;) So last week, Peter and Mike invited me the chicken wings dinner and I had a good time!! It was soooooo tasty ;) I will go this week with my friends so I am looking forward that.

Recently I like to go walking in Halifax ;) I think Halifax is really good place to live. Half of people in Halifax are student!!! That’s why there are too many young people!! So there are many universities here.

What is LOVE?

Love is like drinking water. If you drink a lot of water, that will be too much for you and you will stop drinking right away. However, if you love somebody too much or the other person loves you so much, you will get rid of that relationship right away and you won’t love anymore. I think it's gonna be funny if you just love yourself to let other people love you and that's the important part.

Love is like a maze. You gotta find the way out to win the person’s heart and then you can get the person that you love and share one heart together.

How do you think about LOVE?? I think these words are really good. My friend taught me. What is ‘LOVE’ for you? I think there are some kinds of LOVEs.

October is coming!

Today, it was really good weather in Halifax and it is last day of September. So I wanted to go Public Garden which is famous park in Halifax because it will close from October. But I could not , for I had to make my presentation ;( It is about my future job. Actually, this was my first time to make presentation :( haha So my friends who came across in the library taught me how to make them. I don’t like the presentation… no, no, it’s joking!!! I love it!!! Be positive!!haha~

By the way, I really enjoyed chatting with Cono and Shiori yesterday. Facebook is awesome, isn’t it?? ;) Actually, Gmail does not work well sometimes so I have to wait a little. It makes me so tired. Revel's birthday party :)

I had my friend’s birthday party today. His name is Revel. He is Chinese and he can speak Japanese well. Of course, he can speak English. He is liked everyone because he is so kind and funny. We gave him some SMU’s T-shirt with massages. He looked so happy. I went back to the residence with Revel and Hikaru and we talked a lot. He taught me some Chinese words and songs. It was so interesting!! Happy Birthday, Revel! Have a good year ;)

I don’t like this!! This is cereal which is fat free. I bought this one just because it was cheap!! BUT!! It is like TENKASU ;( Can you imagine TENKASU with milk?? I have had one!! And it was this morning!! I will give this to someone who likes this cornflake.

Do you like cornflakes? I didn’t like it when I was in Japan, but I like it now. I have it almost every morning because it is easy to make. BUT I don’t like this one which is like TENKASUUUUUU!! I am sorry to the company… ;(

My happy weekend☆

Hey guys!! How’s going?? I had a great party last Friday ;) It was really fun and I had a great time with my friends!! The party was for Mike’s birthday and he looked so happy :) I also felt happy to see him. He has a lot of Japanese friends so there were many Japanese people!! First, we went to Yuta’s house and talked a lot!! Yuta is from Kansai and he lives here about 6 months. Everyone respects him and he is like our older brother!! I like his ‘Suberanai hanashi’. If you hear his stories, you can’t stand laughing!! His stories are sooooo interesting! After that, we went to the club♪In Canada, 19 years old is overage so I can enter the club!! But I don’t have my dress so my clothes were so terrible ;( I have to buy my dress!! There, we danced and drunk :) My friend, Hikaru was too drunk and he punched to the wall X( It looked so painful!! But it was funny ;)haha The club was so safety because there were a lot of securities. I went back to the residence with Peter and Hikaru. Peter studied at KGU so I knew him before I came here. He is a tutor of TESL and every student likes him because he is really kind. We talked about Kumamoto and Peter wants to go Kumamoto again. I understood him because I think Kumamoto is really good place to live :)

This weekend is going to be end… I could have a great weekend!! Next week, I will have a lot of homework but I can do it because next weekend is waiting for me!!haha It’s just joking but I want to study hard next week, too. Next Tuesday, I will go to the Kanji Class of Canadian and Japanese society. I can’t wait it!!

Today is rainy day X( But Canadian ...

Today is rainy day X( But Canadian usually don’t have an umbrella because they don’t have heavy rain. So I also don’t have an umbrella because I want to be used to Canadian life!!

Anyway, today is Friday!! Yeah~ ;) I have 2 parties today :) The one is with Chinese and Koreans and another is my friend’s birthday party!! However, I have to do a lot of homework this weekend… I will have a presentation about my future job and I have to read a lot of sentences!! Be positive!! They will make my English skill better!!

My roommate, Kelly is sleeping because she had 2 parties last night. Shhhhh… She has parties every weekend J she is really active girl!!

About my hometown :)

My hometown is Kumamoto in Japan and it’s one of Kyusyu and I like Kumamoto. It is really countryside so it has a lot of nature. Aso is one of the most famous cities in Kumamoto because it is famous for caldera. But in this essay, let me introduce Kumamoto city which is the biggest city in Kumamoto. First, I take you to Kumamoto castle. Kumamoto Castle is one of the most famous castles in Japan, it was built by Kiyomasa Kato about 400 years ago and you can learn about history of Kumamoto there. You can take pictures of Japanese style castle. There are a big park and the museum next to the castle, so you can also enjoy those places. I recommend you to have a lunch in the park because the view from the park is so beautiful. You can eat lunch with looking beautiful Kumamoto Castle.

Next, we can go to Suizenji Park which has Japanese garden. You can experience tea ceremony and feel Japanese culture. I really recommend you to eat ikinari-dango in this park because ikinari-dango of here is really famous and tastes so good. Ikinari-dango is famous food in Kumamoto, and it tastes like sweet potatoes. Also there are some souvenir shops so you can buy Japanese stuff for your family or friends. If you go to the Suizenji Park, you can feel a lot of Japanese cultures.

Finally, I take you to my university, Kumamoto Gakuen University. It is near the Suizenji Park and it takes about 15 minutes by bus from downtown. You can look a foreign university and learn differences. In my University, there are 3 cafeterias. Bakery, large cafeteria, and student centre. Almost exchange students like the bakery because many kinds of breads are sold there. If you come to my university in November 1-3th, you can enjoy our school festival!! KGU’s festival is really famous and there are some special ornaments in the campus. Students prepare for the festival about 4 months before. My university is really good place.

Kumamoto is really good place to live. If you come, you can touch a lot of Japanese cultures. It will be good opportunity to learn about Japan and enjoy your trip.

It was really good weather today!! I went to Spring Garden Road to go to RBC. RBC, Royal Bank of Canada is one of famous bank in Halifax. SMU has their ATM so it is really convenient for me! I had appointment with RBC at 4:00 and the class was finished at 3:30. I ran to RBC because it takes about 20 minutes by foot. I left my residence at 3:45. It was nice exercise :Dhaha In the bank, the banker, Nick was so gentleman so I could make an account without problem. I was so happy! But I can’t understand what debit card is because I have never used it. So I will ask my friend tomorrow how to use it!

I made homburg tonight and it was OK. I want to eat my mother’s one!! I have to improve my cooking skill!! I will be good at cooking next May :) haha

Do you know Taylor Swift who is a country singer? She is a really famous singer in the United States and her CD is sold in Japan. She has a lot of famous songs and my favorite song is “You belong with me”. This song is really good and the music video is so cool!! Taylor is so cute and the actor whose name is Lucas Till is so cool :) I love them!!! You should search on youtube right now!!haha I really recommend you to listen this songJ Girls must be impressed and sympathize with its lyrics ! I bought her CD in Canada. I think all CDs in Canada are cheaper than those of Japan. It was cost me only $15.00 J:D So I was really surprised and happy.

If you never listen her songs, you should :) I love Taylor Swift!!

Mic Mac Mole :)

My Canada life is becoming really happy because I could make a lot of friends. They are really kind and so funnyJ Next week I am going to go 2 parties!! I am really looking forward that!!

Today, I went shopping with my friend, Tiffany. She is Korean and she also come here to study English. We went Mic Mac Mole in Halifax. This is famous shopping mole in Halifax and now a lot of stores sell cheaper!! There is H&M in Mic Mac. Do you know H&M? This is really famous cloth shop and there are 2 H&Ms in Tokyo. They sell really cute clothes, shoes, and accessories. I love H&M!! I bought a shoulder bag and neck less. I am so happy to get themJ Tiffany and I talked in the coffee shop. It was so fun! After that, we went back to our residence. I had a good time with TiffanyJ Next month, I am going to buy warm clothing and boot.

By the way, I have to make an account here. To do that, I had to make an appointment with the bank. The bank I will make an account is named RBC. I did not know where is RBC so Hikaru who is my friend took me there. Hikaru is from Kansai Gaikokugo University and is sooooo funny!! I could make an appointment on next Tuesday without some problems. Thank you HikaruJ I am worrying about Tuesday but I hope I can do it!!

I have a lot of homework today so I have to study a lot tonight X( But it must be good for me!!!

CANADA

I am in Halifax, Canada!! I am going to TESL (Teaching English as a Second Language) of Saint Mary’s University and I live in University residence. In residence, I live with tree Canadian girls. They are Kelly, Kate, and Lyne. They are really kind to me and funny and cute girlsJ I always appreciate them. Gina, Peter, Rachel, and Lexy who studied at KGU are in Saint Mary’s University. Peter is a teacher of TESL so I meet him every day and speak a lot. Gina teaches a lot of thing about SMU and Halifax. Recently, I went to Starbucks in Halifax with Gina and we spoke a lot of things. She can speak Japanese very well :D I want to go shopping with her again! Mio, who comes here with me, and I stayed at Rachel’s house about 3 days before we started to live in residence. Rachel’s house are really cute and we had a good timeJ She has 2 cats and they are really cute!!

In SMU, there is Tim Hottom which is like Misudo in Japan. I love Tim Hottom!! It is really famous in Canada and small coffee is sold $1.10!! I think it is cheaper than that of Japan!! I go there almost every day with my friends. But, I should not go too much because I will get fat if I eat donuts everyday X(haha Be careful, UNOOOOO!!

By the way, I want to meet my KGU friends!!!! I can’t wait next May~X( I miss you, guys!!!!

Achieving personal satisfaction

I have a lot of aims that I would like to achieve. To achieve them, I think it is important to save own time. If I take much time to watch TV or use cell phones or PCs, I can’t have time to study. On the contrary, if I take much time to study, I can’t have time to enjoy my hobby. To achieve my personal satisfaction, I need to do my best. Now, I study languages to use them fluently in the future. I like to communicate with people so I would like to have a job which I can have a lot of communication. So I have to study more.

Facing technological challenges

Now, we can’t live without cell phones or personal computers or other technological products because people use them almost everyday to get information or to get in touch each other. Especially, cell phone is very necessary thing for people. Thanks to cell phone, we can get in touch friends and families wherever we are. Recently, cell phone has a lot of convenience functions. For example, camera function is really good. We can take pictures even if we don’t have cameras. I think this function is the most convenient.

But we don’t have to use cell phones too much time because it is not good for our health. If people use them too much time, it is said that our eyesight will get worst. So we should save our time to use cell phones or PCs.

Developing language awareness

In writing III class, I could develop my English ability. Before I take this class, I was not able to make sentences soon. In addition, I could improve my typing ability because I had to do typing speed homework. My own blog made my writing ability high. If it were not, I couldn’t write nice sentences.

My major is English, so I would like to use English and other languages fluently. If I cannot use languages more, there is no meaning that I am here. So I have to study more from now to improve my language ability. By the way, I am going to study in Canada from September. I’ll go there as an exchange student and I would like to study English hard. I will be able to develop my language ability. In Canada, I will also take writing class. I am looking forward to that class. I would like to make use of things which I learned in this class.

THE DEVIL WEARS PRADA

Do you know this movie? This movie, THE DEVIL WEARS PRADA, is one of my favorite movies. Heroin’s name is Andrea and her boss’s name is Miranda. Miranda is “the devil wears PRADA”. This movie is really famous in both Japan and America because a lot of women sympathize with Andy.

Andy is very kind and clever woman. She would like to be a journalist and she is employed as an assistant of Miranda who is the chief of editor of a famous fashion magazine. Miranda is really strict about job so Andy doesn’t like her at first. Andy was never interested in fashion, so she doesn’t understand why everyone longs to Miranda and her assistants. But actually, the work is really hard. Miranda employs Andy because she wasn’t interested in fashion and has great background. The beginning of her work was not good because she didn’t know technical term. I think that to know technical term is really important to work. Andy took her efforts and she could be a great assistant. But the greater she became, the worse her private was. Her boyfriend misses her because she always talks about her job. I sympathized with him but I understood Andy’s mind. Finally, she could’t stand her position and she quitted Miranda’s assistant. I think she could learn many important things from her job.

I would like to a cabin attendant because I like to communicate with people and to ride planes. It is said that cabin attendant is really hard work, but I think the important thing is to enjoy our job like Andy. When I worked in the stake restaurant, I enjoyed my job so I could worked long time (about 1.5 year). It was important to be smile and communicate with customers. I think jobs make people attractive. So I would like to enjoy my job in the future.

If you have never watched this movie, you should watch in summer vacation!!

BR 1-12; Heidi

Heidi is really famous story in the world. I have known this story since I was a child. I like this story very much because Heidi believed people in her life. People often suspect each other. I think we should believe each other like Heidi.

I like the relation between Heidi and Crala. Crala can’t stand by herself so Heidi encourages her. I think Heidi is really positive and active girl. Clara should be attracted Heidi. If I were Clara, I would respect Heidi because she has very tough mind.

By the way, I would like to live a house like Heidi’s grandfather’s house. It is really little but it may be comfortable!! The nature of Alps should be beautiful. I’m going to Canada to study next September. Then, I will go to Prince Edward Island. My friend says there are a lot of beautiful views there. I am really looking forward to see them.

Heidi is really nice story to think of friend and family. So if you have never read, you should read now!!

HELP!!

Now, I am worrying about my going to Canada. I will arrive there on August 26th but my dormitory will open on September 4th. So we don’t have place to stay about 10 days. I searched B&B, but it is too expensive to stay 10 days. Mio, who will go Canada with me, searched air plane thicket which leave Japan on September 2nd or 3rd. But there is only waiting-cancel ticket. I wish that someone canceled!!! If we can’t get our ticket on September, what should I do?? I don’t know!! But I DON’T want to stay outside!!

I am in Fukuoka!

Have you been to Fukuoka? I am in Fukuoka now. I am staying my friend’s house. Her name is Emi. Emi’s house is really cute!! I want to live alone, so I envy her. I came here with my friend, Haruka. They and I have been friend since we are in high school. We had never seen for a long time so I am really happy to talk with them!!

Emi is a student of Seinan Gakuin University and she wants to be an elementary school student. she is in the cheer leading club and she practices very hard every day. I think she is taking her efforts. I am cheering you!! Haruka is a student of Kumamoto Kenristu University. Her major is Japanese literature and she study about Japanese culture very hard. I am not good at Japanese culture, so I think she is nice!! I would like to learn about Japan. She works at Udon-ya. Do you like Udon? I like Udon, but I think Ramen is better. Oh, Hakata ramen is really taste good so you should have it!! I recommend you.

First of all, we ate lunch in PIETRO. PIETRO is a pasta restaurant and Haruka and I ate pasta. Emi ate doria. Pasta tasted really good! I love tomato pasta! After we ate lunch, we went shopping. I like 3 coins shop. It is like 100yen shop, all goods are sold 300yen. I bought my neckless. It is really cute. Emi went to her practice so Haruka and I went to Starbucks. I love there! I think Fukuoka’s Starbucks is larger than Kumamoto’s. I want larger one in Kumamoto!! We arrived Emi’s house and made curry rice. Haruka can cook very well so I want to be like her. I want to cook well before I go to Canada. Now, we are watching the movie and eating cakes. I love cake and it tastes really good! We will talk about our university life from now. I am looking forward to that very much.

Tomorrow, we will go shopping in Marinoa city. I don’t have money so I can’t buy a lot od things but I will be enjoy!!

I think Percy is really kind boy because he took his action for his family. If my families are poor, I will depend on my parents. So I think Percy is really good boy.

Pirates are really terrible, but Percy obeyed them. If I were Percy, I would do same thing with him. By the way, Captain Crook is really bad!! He can’t do his work by himself. I think it is bad thing. He is like a child!! People always want a lot of money, so they sometimes do a wrong thing. But I think the most important thing is not money. Of course, money is really necessary for us to live and we can’t live without money. But we can’t focus on only money. We should think of our mind. Percy has a good mind, so he could get a lot of money!! People who get a lot of money bad way has poor mind.

Do you love your family? Whichever you answer, it is necessary for you to think of your family. I think ‘Lilo and Stitch’ is really cute story. It is a Hawaiian story so it is good to watch in summer. We usually don’t think of the importance of our family or friends so it was good opportunity for me to think of them. Lilo is a little girl who lives in Hawaii and Stitch is a monster which is from the space. He doesn’t know family’s warmth and Lilo knows family’s warmth. Lilo lives with Stitch and teaches him ‘what is family?’ Finally, he can learn ‘what is family?’ thanks to Lilo. I think they are a good family. According to this movie, OHANA means family in Hawaii. In this movie, they often say “OHANA is family, Families are always staying with.” I think these words are really good and it is important to think of our family.

Recently, I have less time to stay with my family because I have many things to do. For example, a part-time job, hanging out with my friends, studying in the university, and so on!! So I don’t talk with them much time but I sometimes think of my family. I think Lilo and Stitch is a good movie to consider about own family.

Next, I think Lilo and Stitch are also good friends. Lilo has a lot of friends and she enjoyed her life with them. But Stitch has not a lot of friends so he didn’t know what is friend before he met Lilo. I think Lilo is a really kind girl so Stitch is very lucky. Friendship is really important for my life. I may not live without my friends because my favorite time is talking time with friends. Friends are like a treasure in my life.

I would like to make my vacation wonderful because I will go to Canada to study in august 26th. I have a lot of things to do. First, I have to study a lot to go to Canada. I want to go to Kagoshima or Kyoto or TDL. But TDL is really expensive, so we gave up going there. But if we use Seishun 18 ticket, we can ride JR a lot of times. So we will use this ticket.

In this vacation, I would like to study English. I think my English skill is lack to study in Canada. In Canada, I have to watch TV in English and speak in English!! I am looking forward to that but I am worrying about that. I believe I can do it and my English skill will be better. Now, to improve my hearing, I watch dramas named “the OC”. This drama is really interesting. This story is about young boys and girls so I sympathize with them. What’s my dream? What do I want in the future? It is difficult to find them but I want to do everything I can do now. My life is only one so if I don’t do now, I will regret. “The OC” is really good drama son I recommend you. I will read wo books in this summer to improve my English reading skill. “THE ALCHEMIST” and “ANNE OF GREEN GABLES”. I want to finish reading by my departure to Canada. I will read Harry Potter in Japanese. I love Harry Potter but I never read 6th and 7th. So I have to read!!! I watched 6th movie but I want to know everything about 6th !! I want to finish reading Harry Potter and I want to know an end soon!!!

I will go Fukuoka and Aso. I will go Fukuoka with my friends and enjoy shopping and meet our friends. I am looking forward to that. In Aso, I will have good time with my club friends. I have many plans with my friends and family, so I want to enjoy my summer vacation with them and make a lot of memory before I go to Canada!!

This book is a princess story and princess's name is Beauty. I think this book is like Disney movie. Beast may feel lonely in the castle because he hadn't seen and talk with anyone. He didn't like himself so he couldn't open his mind. But, the princess, Beauty is different. She can understand his lonely mind, and she loved him. I think Beauty has really beautiful mind because people usually think the Beast is fearful. Of course, first she saw him, she was really afraid of, but I think it was really temporally thing.

I felt very happy after I finished reading this book because this book's ending is HAPPY END!! I love books which has a happy ending because they always make me happy. So I recommend you to read princess story. You will be able to feel happy :)

Do you know TITANIC? I think almost people know about TITANIC because this ship is really famous. TITANIC was the ship which said it would never sink. But TITANIC was in accident during going from Ireland to New York, and it attacked the iceberg! I think this accident is terrible and sad.

I was the first time to know about TITANIC when I watched the movie in my childhood. Though I was a child, I cried very much when I watch that. It is sooooo sad movie. If I watch this movie now, I will cry, too. People who ride on TITANIC might believe that TITANIC was unsinkable ship so it was unbelievable accident. A lot of rich men and women ridded on this ship, and they might be proud of them. I think it was really trouble accident.

My trip to Kobe 1

I went to Osaka and Kobe with my friend, Kiori in last summer. It was soooo fun and I experienced a lot of things. Kiori is my best friend who lives in Fukuoka. We have known each other since we were in junior high school.

First of all, we ride a plane and in there, we talk a lot. We arrived at Itami airport at 12:30. I met my eibei friend in the airplane. I was really surprised. Kiori and I went to Osaka station by bus and went shopping in Umeda. Umeda was really nice place and there were a lot of people so I was very surprised. Our lunch was shabu-shabu and I tasted so good!! After lunch, we went to Motomochi in Kobe and check-in the hotel. The hotel was really good and comfortable. Because there are in front of Motomachi station and it was near the downtown. We went window-shopping in Motomachi and Sannomiya. There were a lot of cute shops there. I wanted a lot of money!! At night, we ate dinner at stake restaurant, 吉祥. Stakes tasted really good!! I want to eat again!! It was Kobe-Gyu and it was the first to eat them.
After we return to the hotel, we were really tired. So we went to bed soon!!

Long ago, America is under soldiers of England but Native Americans did not obey them. They had their own cultures and thinking so they didn't want to be taken them by force. I may think same things if I am in the same situation.

I think it is terrible to discriminate between Native American and Modern American. We should learn about Native American because they have own culture and they are proud of their own. So I would like to learn more about the history of them. It is important to study history of our country and our culture. I am going to go Canada to study so I may be asked about Japan by foreign people. I have to study Japanese culture and history!!

About Cell phone

Now, I may not live without my cell phone because I can't keep in touch with my friends or my family if it were not. In Japan, almost all adults have cell phones. Some people have two cell phones. I think Japanese people can't live without them. But cell phones were not about 30 years ago. so Ⅰ think people don't have to rely on cell phones. there are a lot of problems about cell phone.

My part-time job

I had worked at stake restaurant whose name is Renga-tei for about one year. But I retired there in May because I want to study hard for my studying abroad which will start from September. I learned a lot of things there.

I started to work Renga-tei on March last year. It was my first time to have a part- time job so I was really nervous. There were 4 people there when I became staff. They are the Master, Hasebe-san, Kondo–san, and Tei–san. Our master is really kind and he has a sense of humor. He has taught me a lot of things about hospitality. I would like to cabin attendant or a secretary, so things he told me were really good for me. He studied about French cooking in Shizuoka and he became a master of Renga-tei about 15 years ago. I respect him very much. I think he is like a working dictionary because he knows a lot of things. Kondo-san was a staff who had worked there for about 2 years. But she had to retire because she was going to work in the hospital s a nurse. She is a good nurse now. Kondo-san also taught me a lot of things. She was really kind to me and she always said to me, “Whenever you confuse, you can tell me. I’ll tell you some advices. Everyone can’t do the first so you don’t have to be negative. I couldn’t do anything like you when I was a new staff.” I was really glad to hear that and I thank I had to take efforts. I wanted to be like Kondo-san. It was not easy to memorize works, but I had to do. But I enjoyed working. Finally, I could work smooth. When I retired the restaurant, the master said to me, “I don’t want you to go Canada!! You ought to be here! I miss you!!” I was very glad to hear and I also miss them.

I think Renga-tei’s stakes are really delicious. I have eaten them two times. I recommend you to eat!!! But… I think they are too expensive for student. So if you have much money, you should go to my restaurant and eat stake! You will have a good time there. Delicious stakes and the master whose smile is good will be waiting for you. Do you know AKAZUKIN-CHAN in Japan? AKAZUKIN-CHAN is really famous story in Japan. This book is that of English. This is by the Brothers Grimm.

A wolf is really hungry and he wanted to eat the girl. I think this is incredible thing!! It is too terrible!! But this story teaches us to keep promises. Before the girl left her home, her grandmother said to her, 'Do not talk to wolves and keep to the path. ' The girl couldn't keep her promise… she talked with a WOLF!!! I think to eat human is really terrible.

We have to promise our promise because if we can't, bad thing will happen. Sometimes we don't do that, and we broke our many relationships. It is too sad things. I think it is good for children to read this book because children may learn a lot of things from this story.

AI concert ☆☆

I went AI’s concert on April. It was really nice and AI was really cool & beautiful!!

Do you know AI?? She is a Japanese singer who is from Kagoshima. She is also good at dancing. I think her voice is so nice. My mother like to listen to her song and one morning, she asked me “Wow!!! Do you have a part time job today?!” I said to her, “No, I don’t. But why?” and she said me with her smile, “You are so lucky girl today!! Because you can go AI’s concert!! I have two tickets so let’s go with me!” I was really surprised but I decided to go because I was interested in her song a little.

There were so many people in the concert hall. AI was REALLY cute woman!! Her smile was so nice so a lot of fans said to her, “AI is cuteJ” I like all her songs, and my favorite song is ‘Nobody like you’. This song is love song whose lyrics were written by AI. I think writing lyrics is so difficult, so I respect her very much. She sang a lot of good songs and I was really impressed!! The end of the concert, she sang ‘OKURUBITO’ which is the main song of the movie, ‘Departure’. This song is really beautiful. I was glad to listen to this song.

The end of the concert, she said to us, “Please come again my concert! Thank you with lots of LOVE!! See you again!!” I was really happy to hear that and I want to go again her concert. She gave us a lot of power and love. Thank you AI and my mother!!

Spirited Away

Have you watched ‘Spirited Away’? I think almost all people know this movie. ‘Spirited Away’ is English name, and in Japanese, it is ‘千と千尋の神隠し’. It is one of the favorite movies in Japan and I love this movie. The director of this movie is Hayao Miyazaki, who is really famous in Japan. He made a lot of famous movies and they are said Jiburi cartoons. I like Jiburi cartoons and I watched Spirited Away when I was in junior high school. I was impressed and I thank it was really wonderful movie.

Chihiro is the heroine of this movie. She is the girl and she is really kind to everyone. During her family go to their new house, her family goes to a wonder land… and her parents become pigs!! There are a lot of strange people and Haku is one of them. He helps Chihiro and they know each other. Chihiro faces many troubles. But Haku always helps her so she loves him gradually.

I think this movie refers to human’s greed. People always want something. Chihiro and Haku are not greed but people in the wonder land are really greed so they think Chihiro and Haku are strange. I would like to be a person like Chhiro. She is kind, earnest, and positive. I think ‘Spirited Away’ is awesome movie!! If you never watched it, you should do!!

Today, I had a wisdom tooth pulled in the dental clinic. It was really painful!! So I haven’t eat anything since that. I am really hungry now, but I can’t eat because of this painful. I love SADO

I belong to a tea ceremony club. I’m in this club when I entered KGU. There are only girls in our club. So we enjoy GIRL TALK every activity. It is really fun and I think many things in the talking…about my life, studying, and love!!

We practice tea ceremony every Monday. I can’t go now because of the study for a secretary’s test but I went every week when I was a freshman. It was really difficult for me but I could know how to make a green tea. Tea ceremony is one of Japanese cultures so I think it is good to know that. I got a permit to practice more about tea ceremony. I was really glad when I get that! This is it →

I got this permit before a school festival, Takuma-sai. We did tea ceremony in Takuma-sai and I practice really hard before the festival. So I could do well. I was glad because many guests came and said, ‘It was really good! I want to come again!!’ I felt happy to be there. I love tea ceremony and I want to study more about it!!

We hang out every Wednesday and enjoy a lot of activities!! We are going to have dinner with flower arrangement club on Jun 17. Flower arrangement club is also only girl’s club. I’m really looking forward to it.

I went to the dormitory which live exchange students of KGU. They had a party and I participated that party. We had many kinds of pizza and some foods. Oppa, who is Korean, made Kimuchi fried rice for us. It tasted soooo good! I want to eat again. Oppa is like our older brother so he is calls Oppa… Oppa means older brother in Korea. Thank you Oppa!! The party was really fun! Exchange students study Japanese and they enjoy Japanese life. I respect them because they are really positive every time. I ate Yakiniku with my eibei friends for dinner today. I stayed really good time! I ate at Daikokuten and it cost me \2000. I thank it was so cheap! In addition, Yakiniku tasted sooooo goodJ I wanted to say to yakiniku ‘Hey! Long time no see!!’ I like yakiniku but I didn’t have it for a long time so I was really glad to have it. I think this book teaches people not to be greedy or we lose everything. The picture of this book is really cute so I think this story is happy one. But actually, this story is very cruel because a couple killed the goose.

First of this story, a husband and a wife were really poor. They had a lot of geese and one day, one of the geese laid a golden egg. The golden egg could sell really expensive. So a husband and wife became greedy day by day. They killed the goose one day because they wanted more money and thought that the goose might have more golden eggs in his body. I think it is really terrible and human can think terrible things. I do not think of things like that.

If children read this book, they can learn that it is bad to be greedy. So I think this book is good for children. BUT I hate this story!!

Ornament group in Takuma-sai

Do you know the ornament group of our school festival? I was in the group last year. It was sooooooo fun!! I was in group 1 of that. Group 1 was consisted of 16 students. We made a robot soldier of ‘天空の城ラピュタ’ with woods, clay, old newspapers, and so on. It was really big!! It was displayed in the school garden and people saw that and said, ‘Oh, it is very big and great!!’ I was really glad to hear that.

During making our work, we made a lot of memories. We went to family restaurant after our work, went boring, went Mt. Kimpo to see view, and drink!! I enjoyed every time!! We sometimes hang out now and go to the sea, drink in our leader’s house, and so on. Group 1 is like a family for me!! I love them. I would like to make more good memories with them. I am looking forward to next activity!!

There are a lot of university students in Japan and they learn many things everyday. People say that university life is really important and memories with university friends become our treasure in the future. Actually, my university life is really fun and I learn a lot of things from my experiences. We can experience a lot of things in our university life. For example, part-time job, clubs, classes, trips, studying abroad, and so on!! We can make a lot of friends in club activity.

I belong to tea ceremony club. Tea ceremony is one of Japanese cultures so I wanted to try to it and I decided to belong to this club. There are a lot of clubs in my university. Most of students belong to club. When we have school festival, we make many things with our club friends. It is really fun and I enjoyed a school festival very much last year. We practice tea ceremony every Monday. It is really difficult to make green tea, but we enjoy practicing. We can have Japanese cake before we drink a green tea. It is so good and it matches with green tea. I could make a lot of friends in my club and we talk each other a lot of times in a week. I love the time with my club friends. I would like to make many memories.

Other students also belong to various clubs. They enjoy their club activities with their friends. All of clubs have welcome party for freshman in May. Freshman should introduce their selves and boys have to do an interesting thing called Ippatsu-gei. It is really fun and become happy memories. In clubs, students do their best to achieve their aims. For example, in sports club, students practice a lot of times because the want to win. They learn many things from that practice. if we belong to club, university life become more fun!!

There are a lot of students who don’t belong to clubs. If we don’t belong to clubs, we can study a lot of times and work at part-time job much time. It is really good for students to have a lot of times to study. Because they don’t have club activity, they can take a lot of time to work. But they shouldn’t take too much time to work, or they can’t study. Student’s real work is to study!

Club is one of activity which makes our university life fun. We should try a lot of things and learn many things. University life will become unforgettable memories for us. So we should enjoy everyday and experience a lot of things! University life will make our own future.

In Japan, this book called ‘Wakakusa Monogtari’ I know the title of this novel because it is famous, but I had never read it. So I think it is important to know famous novels. There are 4 sisters in Massachusetts and they are Meg, Jo, Beth, and Amy. They are really good sisters and they always be with. I think brothers or sisters are really important for us. In this story, 4 sisters are always thinking of each other. I have 3 brothers and I don’t have any sisters, so I envied to have sisters.

‘Love is more important than money.’ In this story, these words are written again and again. I don’t know about that because I don’t have knowledge about love.

I think Little Women was a really nice novel because I could sympathize with 4 sisters.

I like the suspense story which the hero is a private detective. So this book was really interesting for me. But I think troubles which happening in the world are not good. So a trouble which is like in this book should not happen, especially a murder case!!

I’m a student of KGU and I enjoyed my university life everyday. I study about English and linguistics and It is interesting to study them. I would like to improve my English skill and speak English more fluently so I’ll do my best!!

I belong to tea ceremony club and we practice every Monday. It is really difficult for me to do, but I take efforts with my friends. I’m really fun when I stay with friends of the club. We have a lot of opportunity to talk with other club’s friends, so we can make friends!! Because I belong to the club, I can make a lot of friends and I have a very good time with them.

I live in Kikuchi, which is very far from KGU. So I have to get up early when I have 1st class and it is not easy for me. But it is not good to be late for the class, so I have to!! In Writing I-Ⅱ, I could learn a lot of things about English. First, when we write an essay, we should make some paragraph. If we make them, paragraphs make the essay easy to understand. So it is very important to make them. Second, we should take attention to prepositions. Prepositions also make the sentence easy to understand and I think it is important to use a correct prepositions. Finally, it is not good to begin same words each sentence. If all sentences begin ‘I’, we are very boring to read. So we should make a variation. For example, we can use conjunction, change the subject, and so on.

I think English writing is difficult for Japanese, but we can improve our writing skill if we write a lot of essays. So I’ll do my best in Writing III.

Do you know Charlie and Chocolate Factory? It is a fantasy of chocolate factory. This story became a movie and became most famous movie in the world. Johnny Depp performed Willy Wonka who is a leader of the factory, and his acting was grate! I thank it was really interesting movie.

Charlie is a poor boy and he lives with parents and grandparents. Charlie has a dream…he want to go to the factory; Willy Wonka’s chocolate Factory. He has to get a gold ticket which is only 5 in the world to go to there. He can’t buy chocolates because he doesn’t have much money, but he found some money in the street. It was dropped by someone! He goes to the shop and bought a chocolate…the gold ticket is in the chocolate!!!! He is really happy!!!!! He goes to the factor with his grandfather. His grandfather worked at the factory when he was young, so he also was glad to hear tha he could go to the factory. There are another 4 children and their parents who can enter the factory. But Charlie is only poor boy in the 5. Other children are all rich and they are really strange girls or boys. Charlie has to enter and communicate with them. Willy Wonka is sooooooooo strange and crazy man. But I like his personality because he is very pure. Charlie experiences a lot of exiting things there!! Chocolate liver, so many Oompa-Loompas; which are really strange but cute dwarves, balloon gums, and so on!! Oompa-Loompas are Wonka’s friends and hey respect him. They are really small and interesting! I love them!!

I think this story is really interesting and fantastic! Johnny Depp is one of my favorite actors, so I was very glad to watch the movie. He was really cool!! I think his acting is excellent!! Have you watched this movie? If you haven’t, you should watch soon!!

Today, I had lunch with my friends of Sado. May 4th was Sayoko’s birthday but we couldn’t do her birthday party, so we had a surprise party for Sayoko. She likes cream puffs, so we gave her 3 kinds of cream puffs with candles. She looked really happy so I was glad to see that. We also gave letters to her. She sent a mail to us after she read letters. It said that she was very glad. I was glad, too. I love SADO and I will be able to have a wonderful time with them in the future.

Starbucks Coffee with my friends

I went to Starbucks with Haruka, Yusuke, Akaho, Kohei after school. Haruka and I ordered a cup of coffee and berry taruto. They were really nice!! I think star bucks is　a little expensive, but I love it! I had a very good time. We talked about our part-time job, homework, and so on. Eibeigakka students are busier than other courses, but we can have a great time in Eibeigakka. I love Eibei friends! I would like to improve my English skill more, and speak a lot of people in the world. Almost of us have same aim, so I can do my best with them. It is not easy to learn foreign language, but I believe I can do it!!

I love the sky when I was a child, so I like to ride airplanes. This book, ‘The story of flying’, is a story about how to begin to fly by plane.

In 1487, an Italian inventor named Leonardo da Vinci drew plans for a flying machine. He was sure it would fly, but he couldn’t build one that worked. He was the first person who wanted to fly. On December 17, 1903, Wilbur and Orville invented the first plane. They were brothers who lived in America. They failed a lot of times. But all the time, they were learning about flying. I think they were really glad and happy when they could fly. But taking off wasn’t as easy as it sounds. Lots of people were building planes and there were all kinds of competitions to see who could fly the highest, longest or fastest. Planes were only the start of flying story. Like the first plane, the first hot-air balloon was invented by brothers. The Montgolfiers, who were French, noticed that hot air rises. Soon, they had built a balloon large enough to carry people. I haven’t ride balloon, so I would like to ride it! Helicopter is one of invention of flying history. Space shuttle is too.

I like airplanes so this book was really interesting for me. I respect to inventor of planes. If planes were not, we couldn’t take a trip to all over the world.

My trip to Fukuoka

I’m staying my friend’s house in Fukuoka. There are a lot of wonderful place here. I went to Marinoa City. There were many shops and there were a lot of people because of GW. We bought clothes shoes bags, and so on. They were really cheap!! We ate pasta for lunch. It tasted really good. I was surprised that we can go Marinoa with our pets. I think it is really convenience. Next, we went to Tenjin. Tenjin is very good place for shopping but we didn’t buy anything there. We were really tired because we walked long distance, so we took a rest at Starbucks Coffee. I wondered that there are green tea tastes in foreign country.

After that, I went my friend’s house. The room is really cute! I envy my friend!! At night, we went to the beach which named Momochihama. It was sooooooooooo beautiful place! I want to go again. I want to go there with my Eibei friends or Soushoku friends.

And now, we are talking about our school life with listening to music. I have a very god time. I’m going to watch the movie in Kumamoto tomorrow. So I will have to get up early but I can’t sleep!! I enjoy my talking time now:)

Book review 1; The princess and the Pea

The reason why I chose this book is that the cover is really cute. Both prince and princess are so nice and I like these colors. I like a story about princess. My favorite princess story is Cindelera.

A prince, Patrick is looking for his REAL princess. He set out to travel the world, in search for a real princess. Then, he took with cousin, Fred and his maid, Peg. First of all, he visited to a witch and he asked her where the real princess is. The witch said that the princess is; politeness to one and all, kindness to rich and poor, very sensitive skin. She gave him a princess map and he left to find the princess. The first princess is Princess Prunella she was very excited to see the prince. But she was NOT polite to everyone. The second princess is Princess Pavlova. But she was NOT kind to poor. Patrick gave up and he thank he didn’t find a real princess. Then, one princess appeared. Her name is Primrose. But, she was NOT sensitive skin. Sensitive skin means that a real princess has such tender skin that she could feel a pea under twenty mattresses. The only girl who can be three things is… Peg!! She is polite to one and all, kind to everyone, and had sensitive skin. Patrick noticed that thing, and he married her!! So he could marry his real princess.

My favorite food is salad and tomato is really good for me. But I don’t like tomato juice. I think it is strange. I like dressing better than mayonnaise. Freshman Camp

We had a freshman camp on 4/11-4/12. It was sooooo fun for me, but actually, I was really tired. I was one of stuff of this camp. Many freshmen came to this camp so I was glad. Exchange students came to the camp and they talk with many freshmen so they said that it was really hard to remember freshmen’s name! I thank so. We enjoyed fruits bucket game. Everyone ran to another chair when their fruit called. After that, we introduced ourselves in the group. Freshmen might be nervous so stuff had to speak a lot. My group talked about clubs, elementary schools, and so on.

We made curry rice for supper. It was really delicious! Freshmen also said it was good so we were so glad. I wanted to eat more but I can’t. At night, we had a birthday surprise party for freshmen and exchange students. We prepared birthday cakes. They looked so gladJ We were glad, too.

The next day, we had Easter egg hunting. Then, Shohei was really crazy! He was really interesting. Freshmen were looking for eggs and they looked fun. After the game, we cleaned up the building. My group cleaned up the entrance.

We went to Aso to pick up strawberries by bus. Strawberry was really sweeeeeet! I love strawberry!! I ate ice cream with my friends. It was so good and I want to eat again.

The stuff of freshman camp was really good experience for me. It was very hard, but very nice. After the camp, a lot of freshman said ‘I enjoyed very much! Thank you!’ I was soooo glad to hear that.

Amakusa trip

Spring vacation finished and new semester start. My vacation was really fun; especially Amakusa trip was lots of fun.

I went to Amakusa on March24 to 25 with my friends. We went to there by cars. I took Kaoru’s car and we sang a lot of songs in the car. Ayumi is very good at singing!! I want to go to karaoke with them. As soon as we arrived Amakusa, Ayumi and Kaoru and I made curry rice. Other friends went fishing and they looked happy. After we finished cooking, we went to the hot spring. It was really good!! We made 2 kinds of curry rice, spicy type and sweet type. Sweet type was used apple. I liked sweet type. Everyone said that it tasted really good so we were so happy. After that, we drank umeshu, beer, and shochu and played tramp game. I enjoyed very much.
The next morning, we watched WBC on TV. The game was really exciting!! I love Ichiro!! I love Japan!!! Japan won the game!! One of my friends looked so happy that she was crying. I was happy too. Japan team encouraged us.
During going back to Kumamoto, we sang a song in the car. It was fun, too. I want to go trip with same member. (215w)

My 19th birhday

Des.27 was my 19th birhday! My friends held a surprise party for me. I was too surprised to cry!! On Des.26, we met in front of the student hall at 5:00pm and decided where we have supper.

After that, we went to Hamakatsu by Yonesan's car and Kaoru's car. At Hamakatsu, I have Oroshikatsu and I was really full. It was very delicious!! We went to a game center and play a lot of games! Medal game, car game, hockey game, and so on! Especially, hockey game was really fun. Yonesan and Kana team was sorong, but Mi-yan and Tomohiro team won them. At 10:30pm, we move to downtown to go to the bar.

The bar was reserved only for us and it was really nice bar. Time was over 0:00am. I forgot that the day was my birthday. When I waited cheers, the light went out suddenly and Yonesan brought the cake which was wrote "Yukie Happy Birth Day vv"!! I was really surprised and happy!!! It was beyond my expression, so all I could do was to cry. Everyone sang a birthday song and BGM was also birthday song. I couldn't believe that!! I said to everyone, "I really love you, guys!! Thank you so much!!!" Yonesan, Ayumisan, Kana, Kaoru, Mi-yan, Yuri, Chinami, Yu-taro, Tomohiro, Ko-dai... I won't forget my 19th birthday, that moment. Thank you for every thing and you are my friend forever. I love you!!!

By the way, we have to take a video of news presentation. On Dec. 15, we practice for presentation and dicide who is the anchor. Yurina is the anchor and I am the first speaker. We are busy so it is difficult to take enough time to take a video, but we do our best!!

Christmas is close at hand. There are a lot of Christmas trees and illumiations all over the town. I will have a party with my friends!! I'm looking forward to that, but I have to work before the party. Many people are looking forward to the Christmas Day. I wish that people can have a great time in that day.

Recently, it is really cold and so many people catch a cold. I had been sick

10/27 Speaking Class

In October 27, we prepared for the presentation, which is the reastaurant menu.
We have already started to make menu, so it was easy to practice.
It was really difficult to introduce the menu in English, but we could do that
with a text book. Our preparation is incomplete, so we're going to make menu
and practice on November 5.

We made sandwich menu, in addition, we considered side menus.
For example, ice cream for dessert, many drinks, alcohols, and so on.
Next Monday is no class, so time to make menu is decrease, but we try to
find our free time and want to finished completely!!

Takumasai will be held from October 31 to November 2. I'm in the
tea celemony club and Soushoku Committee. In Soushoku Committee,
we're making a really big statue. My group is making the great soldier
of "Castle Rapyuta in the sky".
I enjoy every day. These days will be my precious treasure.
I'm looking forward to Takumasai very much!!!!

My memory with friends

I have many good memorys with friends, and it's my treasure.

When I was in high school, I chose a leader of cheering group in

the sports day. I was very nervous, but my friends said me

" You can do it! You are the only person who can be our leader!".

I was very glad. We practice everyday for the sports day.

It was very difficult for me to manage to study and practice,

but I lived a full days!! We cooperated each other, and we

could make it!!! I was very glad. And I was deeply greatful

to everyone. I will never forget this great memory.

My friends gave me a precious experience.

10/6 Speking Class

In speaking class, we discussed about the menu.
We could dicide that we make a menu of sandwich. Our restaurant has
10 kinds of sandwich. Each sandwiche have a countrys name.
For example, American type, Japanese type, Korean type, and so on.
We use each comestic products when we make sandwiches.
And we have to make a C.M. by October 20. We will make it
October 16 or 17. I want to make very funny C.M.!!

9/29 speaking class

In 9/29, we made a group for the presentation.
The presentation is about restaurant menu.My group member is
Kana, Kohei, and Tsubasa. We discussed what kind of restaurant
we will make. Kana said that she thought sandwich restaurant is good
because sandwich could sand many foods. So it is easy to think
the menu. But, It is not decision. Next week, we will think
more interesting idea!!

Welcome Party

I joined the welcome party for exchange students on last Monday.
It was very fun!! There are a lot of foods and drinks, so I was very full.
Canadian made so nice cakes. It tasted very good!!
I could make many friends. They are not only exchange students
but also Japanese. I talked with so many people.
I enjoyed very much!! I'm looking forward to talking with them again.

Thanks to the English Lounge, I have many oppotunities to speak English.
I'm a leader of the English Lounge, but I want to go there another time.

Speaking Class

Summer vacation finished, and new semester started!!
I could enjoy the first day. Many friends changed their hair colors.
They were very nice!! I also want to change my hair color!

Speaking class was very fun.
First, Mr. Waterman discribe this semester's classes.
We will have to make a personal blog ( I did!) , and
we have to do grope activity.
I think it'll be very fun. I' m looking forward to grope activity.

Next, we spoke about " How was your summer vacation?".
Most of my friends said that they spent a good days.
I was glad to hear that!! Many friends worked very hard.
I also worked very hard, but it was fun for me.
I like my part-time job!!

I think I will enjoy speaking class and I hope to improve my
English skill!! I'll do my best!!

-Homework-
I often eat a piece of bread and a cup of coffee for breakfast in my house at 6:30.
My breakfast time seems to be too early, but it's nice for me.
At lunch time, I eat my lunch. If I don't have my lunch,
I buy at convenience store. Sometimes I eat bread in the bakery.
At dinner time, my mother cook for my family.
I often come hme late because I have a part-time job,
so I eat alone. But my mother's cook is very nice.
When I m hungry, I eat chocolate or potatochips, and so on.
My favorite food is fruits. Especially, I like pineapples.
I don't like an eggplant.
