Story
Macau in 1999, before handover to China, former mobster Wo lives quietly with his wife Jin and their newborn child. One day he has 4 visitors; killers Blaze and Fat, Tai and cat who comes to protect Wo. A brief showdown breaks out, but 4 men lay their weapons down because the child cries suddenly. After that they have a dinner, actually they are friends. As Wo's last wish hopes to leave the property for Jin and the child...
This movie has a huge story and is less violent than I thought. But I think it is exaggerated. I laughed that Cat shoots a can to hit Sgt. Shan who is a timid officer. Meanwhile I like that 4 men save Sgt. Chen who almost gets killed. People say Exiled is similar to "The Wild Bunch." But I think the former one is better than the latter one. The Wild Bunch is just an action and violent movie for me and I think a woman can't enjoy it. Anyway Anthony Wong is very awesome, but Francis Ng in the movie is also unforgettable.
By the way, there are 4 actors who is related with Infernal Affairs series in the movie; Anthony Wong (appears all 3 stories), Francis Ng (the 2nd one), Roy Cheung (the 2nd one), and Lam Ka Tung (the 1st one). If you have already watched Infernal Affairs, probably easy to enjoy it.
